I guess at this point of the competition the dancing order doesn't matter any longer. She should pull off almost brilliant performances and believe in her naughty bits. And then everything will turn out right ...

Mark seems to be able to handle her tension very well und to calm her down. They work together with the greatest ease I've ever seen on a show like this. I'm really enjoying not only their dances but their pre packages and confessionals too. To quote Louis van Amstel (Louis Van Amstel’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 14 Dish) here: "Now you two, go make beautiful babies…"

Derek told Maria a few weeks ago that EVERY time he won a major competition, he was injured. So he told her in a way it's a good luck charm. He was also injured just before the Season 6 finale (with Brooke) and in the Season 10 semifinals (with Nicole).

Huh? They haven't gone last one time all season! Jaleel went last three times, William went last twice, Donald's gone last. Maria and Derek went first or second FOUR times. Kevin and Maria are not only bf but also business associates so if that relationship ends up turning sour(which I hope doesnt happen) she will have much more to lose imo than those 2 guys.Because imo its easy to get all caught up in the show, partnership/relationship but what happens next? Its better to stay friends imo .
The thing is that when you do a show like this one, you have to be totally invested emotionally, physically... but at the same time you have to think about long term.
Because in the long term, Derek is more likely to continue to stay in the show(hopefully) or do something else and is it realistic to expect them to maintain their relationship with a busy work schedule, the press, the media...? Well I dont know but I suppose time will tell.

Of all his partnerships the one that I could have seen him ending in a relationship with is Nicole lol(dont ask me why ) .

Anyway, I am really hoping Katherine does well tonight: 2 WOW DANCES. Her and Mark have been awfully quiet this week comparing to Maria or Donald who have all over the press.

It was nice to see Shirley and Corky - together supporting Katherine and Mark on one of the pap videos, think there was a time when things were bumpy for them, did someone say Kristina went out with Corky on one of the threads? Shirley starting to look healthier after her surgeries now.

I'm hoping for Katherine, Donald and Maria to make it through and then wouldn't mind who actually won the whole shebang - whoever's best on the night would be fine with me. These are the three freestyles I most want to see and, between them, would make for the most entertaining show (imho!)

Katherine's chances of winning are poor to nigh impossible, I reckon (unfortunately), but reaching the final would be an amazing achievement. Regrettably, though, I think she will be the one to miss out.

I didn't think I was that bothered about Katherine (and haven't liked Mark for the last few seasons at all ), but she's grown on me and Mark has been much more palatable with her. I realised last week, when I was sure she'd get the boot, that I really wanted her to stay . Go Jenkins!

Been lurking It is currently 2.15 am here in Oz, I should be in bed.....will be very bleary eyed when I wake up......I am lucky enough to go on line with a friend in the US as the show goes to air, we are both DWTS nuts I would love to see Katherine win it, but would be happy if Donald wins. I have a feeling Donald will take it out...Will be very interesting to see how the scoring pans out. Agree with you fridgesoup, have not liked Mark for the last few seasons, but he seems much calmer this time, a welcome change, although I still find him, what I call, manic, on the dance floor...Night from me :yawn:

Yes bib those are my three finalists too, not expecting Kat to be there but hope so, as she has the best technique and has been the most consistent. Have watched Viva La Diva and can see a major change in her dancing ability but she seems to have lost a lot of performance on DWTS for some reason, think if she can get that back there will be a marked difference in her, but maybe left it too late.

BIB I agree . Since week 4 , I think she has really lost in that aspect. And that is the major complain that people have with her(well me too): yes she is a good dancer probably the best left but she is boring and her performance doesnt engage people.

Right now she is the huge fav. to leave but if and if her performances tonight are WOW then maybe she has a chance. One thing Im scared of is Derek's AT with Maria:he is the best AT choreographer well for the men in this show anyway imo and he always deliver a stunning choreo.

Because I dont see William leaving, nor Donald so it has be between Katherine and Maria.
