Well that was part of your quote. As somebody here said, you really can't base an entire country on a dance show message board. really.
seriously , I take it you never read the DS General Discussion threads where some of the threads (many) definitely have a vicious anti American tone. Even the X Factor UK board was particularly nasty regarding Kelly Rowland and her "OTT American attitude". Anyway, there are rude insensitive ignorant stupid and mean people on both sides of the Atlantic. I never expected the DWTS threads to start veering off into this realm. Really, at this point, ANY olf the three remaining are deserving to win. Any of them. Just my opinion... (although Im rooting for Donald and Peta)I have read a number of DS general discussion threads (and equally snarky Showbiz threads) and have seen some knocks, but not lliterate posts like those cluttering the ABC board right this minute. Here is an actual thread title: dont votoe for kathrine she dose not do best I'm very familiar with what has happened to the American education system. I taught high school and have kept up with successive changes to the system, most of which were disasters. I've exchanged correspondence with Dr. Thomas Sowell, who wrote a book that was decades in the making, "Inside American Education." I told Dr. Sowell the disturbing things that were going on inside the adminstrative departments of Wichita City Schools that was causing a friend of who worked there considerable anguish and sleepless nights and asked Dr. Sowell, "Is there any hope for our education system?" His reply? "Sadly, no." |

Absolutely loved this dance. Chelsie was on fire, and Tristan, well, hot, hot, hot ![]() Many thanks to all who have posted links to news, etc, you are legends ![]() I have never visited the ABC boards and don't intend to. I get the impression there are too many over zealous nuts, oops fans there. Cannot understand why posters have to be so rude with their comments. Surely, their view can be worded in a much more polite way. Manners cost nothing and go a long way. Everyone I have met here on DS has been nothing but friendly If you are polite to someone, then it is returned.Bring on the Grand Final, cannot wait Hope everyone has a great day, where ever you are

Hope everyone has a great day, where ever you are ![]() . Does anyone know the format of the final? Just going from what Mark was saying in the after-interview, there are 3 dances with one performed on Tuesday night 'for the honour'. Does he mean that the 3rd place person dances for the honour? or are all couples dancing a 3rd dance after all the voting has closed? Do they all get to do their freestyle? Are all 3 dances new, or do they re-do a favourite? Katherine is missing the Tango - what about the others? Questions, questions.... ![]() OT: The Olympic flame is making it's way round my area this weekend - I saw a notice saying it would be in the car park of my local Sainsburys on Sunday! I hope they make it to some prettier spots, too . Unfortunately I'll miss it (weekend away), but I'm starting to feel excited

Im also wondering at the format. I think its 2 dances on Monday (votes), and 3rd dance on Tuesday (whoever is 3rd its their honour dance).... for the other two its for the judges.

Since when does 'many' equal 'all' or even 'most?'

Two dances on Monday. Scoring and viewer's votes. And the first elimination. Not sure if annouced already on Monday or Tuesday. Then the third dances on Tuesday. But with only two couples still in the competition. The 3rd couple is dancing this for the honour.
![]() I feel bad for the third place couple. I wish they would just do a 1,2 and 3 after all the dances, but I guess they have to rack up the tension . It's quite the conundrum for the producers having the final over two nights and with viewing and voting across different time zones. Makes my head hurt .Anyone know what the dances will be? |

Hello Digital Spy forumers! I've been following this thread the whole season and I've enjoyed all your discussion/posts a lot. This comment got me to post, if only to jump in and say there's another lurker amongst you.
![]() and this: I follow some people on twitter who are constantly retweeting that damn site. Sometimes, I'm scanning my timeline in a half-daze, and I click on links without thinking. I end up seeing more of their posts than I want to; my preference is to not visit them at all. PureDWTS does have some original content, but the supermajority of their content is stuff they're reposting from other sites. It's credited and all. But then, they mess it up by bragging about being DWTS "experts" or self-complimenting their sooooper special analysis when the commentary is so bland and obvious. The reading's much more insightful and funnier on sites like DS & TWoP. Anyone bragging about being an "expert" on DWTS is so ugh. I cringe from the second-hand embarrassment of that. They bring that self-importance to their moderating. It looks totally batshit when they rant at commenters even after they've been banned. ![]() I've never commented there, therefore I've never been banned or censored there. This isn't a vengeance post. I also like Derek Hough, so I'm not offended by others who like him too. (I wouldn't be offended by those who dislike him either.) Excuse my own "batshit" rant here, but I guess over the past year, I've just been bugged or a little irritated every time I happened upon that site, and it built up. Seeing edy's post opened the floodgates. I think I need to unfollow some people on twitter until I get better at selectively following links. I shall have to post a warning ahead of putting a link for pure DWTS then ![]() ![]() They are informative on occasion, so I just ignore the other stuff.

Wow, they sure don't mince their words on there. I hope Cheryl never visits that site, I can't imagine how it would feel to read that kind of stuff about yourself.Think I'll stick to Windy's blog ![]() ![]() I wonder if we could get him to blog SCD? We need the producers to find a Katherine clone for him to lust over. ![]() He might like Kristina or Ola? Mind you they don't have the Welsh accent... Hmmm

why does he always have his tongue out
![]() ![]() ![]() He said he did it as a child because he didn't want to be known as a dancer as he wouldn't have looked cool, so used to stick his tongue out to make out he was messing about to anyone who would have laughed at him, now he can't stop sticking it out ![]() ![]() ![]() He said he was 16 before anyone knew he danced.
