Donald is from Texas and he is doing a cowboy dance. In his roll in package he said no one expects him to do a country dance.
Fabulous lifts I must say and fun. Tthe crowd is going crazy. Scores: 10-10-10. Carrie Ann: My favourite season and my favourite dance of the night. Len: Chances win dances. Bruno: I cannot resist a ride in the wild wild west. This was a country inspired triumph. |

For my money the final two should be Donald and Katherine.

All the videos are here. These ones include buildup and scores
http://www.youtube.com/user/dancingwts09/videos (Show running order was William, Katherine, then Donald. Normal dance first then freestyle) Donald stole the show with that freestyle, though I think it was Peta who caught my attention most, Tom's "wearing almost a whole dress" comment about her AT dress summed it up... |

Thanks for the links
![]() I love, love, love Donald & Peta's freestyle. William's was a bit predictable. I thought Katharine's was good but a little frantic at times. |

I think we'll see Donald win, Katherine second and William third.
I preferred Katherine's FS but Donald's was a lot of fun so I won't be surprised if he takes the MBT, and Peta's my fave pro, so even though I am rooting for Katherine I think Donald and Peta will take it |

Thanks for the videos. I had a squeek peek at the Freestyles on my iphone as I woke up but will watch them again shortly.
For me the freestyles were ranked in this order: Katherine, William and Donald. To be honest, I was a tad disappointed with Donald's dance - it didnt seem to have much variety. I quite liked William's and Cheryl did a good job compared with the disaster she did with Gilles but for me Katherine's was by far the best. Mark did a great job bringing out all the best bits of their journey and for me it was very similar to what I think is the best of showdances (Tom Chambers). Theirs had Charleston, Quickstep, Lindyhop, West Coast and East Coast Swing, Jive and Tap.... (just perfect for them). I hope Katherine makes the last 2. have a feeling if its Katherine and William, Levy will win but if its Katherine and Donald, she might have a chance. |

Katherine Jenkins goes for glory (itv.com/daybreak interview)
http://www.itv.com/daybreak/entertai...erine-jenkins/ I really enjoyed Donald and Katherine's freestyles, but if I was picking holes (oh, I am! ), I would have had fewer lifts in both. I thought K was flagging slightly towards the end, and D was doing more standing and supporting than dancing in parts. Donald's was a lot of fun and a real crowd pleaser, so I guess that counts for a lot. I liked that K sang at the beginning (reminding people why she's there!), that it incorporated so many dance styles and also that the routine was very 'her' (lifts aside ). A Len pleasing dance Afraid I didn't rate William's freestyle so much and agreed with Len's comments.....although I expect they will unleash a backlash K's paso was crisp, clean, classic and very, very good. Perhaps a bit clinical, but deserving of her 10 from Len (Again - I think they choreographed it for him ). I could have done without the two bits of showboating from Mark (the very impressive knee walk things and the leap) because they were moments when K wasn't doing anything.Donald's AT was a fabulous demonstration of how strong he is and also Peta - I am beyond envy at her muscle tone/control - but, I would have preferred to see him dance more. William's cha cha was an improvement, but I guess I'm just not seeing it with him. Something weird about his posture - just hugely overrated, I think. Katherine or Donald for the win! (Tom is great: 'almost a whole dress!', 'He's really starting to annoy me' )

Do we know which dances have been chosen for tomorrow night?
Like in Strictly, they are all missing a dance - I wish they were all doing their undanced style tomorrow. |

Continued from last post:
I personally feel that Paso is one of the best Ive ever ever seen on DWTS and Strictly. (And for those involved in the debate on whether Chelsee and Pasha's was the best ever - it wasnt..... Id say Katherine and Mark's FAR surpassed this). |

Ive now watched all 6 dances again on bigger screen at work and its very difficult to pick between the 3 of them as to who should be final 2.
I see that Donald's freestyle had some brilliant moments... but for me it was a little too samey. I liked his AT though (although it was very acrobatic and a little "cold" for me rather than erotic and passionate. I really liked William's CCC and you can see where he has improved and also "relaxed" and let go of his inhibitions. The freestyle was a little predictable but I thought it inspired of Cheryl to include Tango and Salsa/samba together. Katherine's paso was inspired and so technically good that it deserved the 10s, particularly the 10 from Len and I agree, it looked though they had choreographed a traditional paso just for Len. And yes, my only criticism was the couple of moments of showboating from Mark (although if you check out the AT and CCC videos, you will see both Cheryl and Peta doing a little showboating when Donald and William were pretty much just standing there). I liked the freestyle and loved all the styles and for me it was the most ambitious. It was a little frenetic but that was perhaps the music rather than the style. Very hard and I still cant decide who should be the final 2. I think they all deserve it... and for me perhaps its the first series for a long time when all the final 3 deserve to be the final 2. Best 3 in the final for me. |

![]() Now managed to watch all 6 dances Thought Kath's paso was deserving of triple 10's, glad she got the hiccups in rehearsals smoothed out. Liked the freestyle and that she got to sing at the beginning, thought they did a very good job and was entertained. Some of her lifts were slightly inelegant, perhaps down to not having enough time to refine it all and was distracted by her white brogue type shoes. Katherine seemed to get her performance level back for this dance. Overall Kath and Mark still my favourites. Donald, I'm not a country music fan, but can see the work that went into that routine and it was definitely a crowd pleaser by the look of it. Still think Peta outdanced Donald in the tango, my eye was on her mostly she was smoking hot, she's really a top notch dancer, Donald had improved but felt Peta did a lot of the dancing again. I thought it was a great routine and liked the Jem song. Wasn't wowed by either of William's dances, unfortunately, think that's down to the choreography. Felt a bit let down, was expecting more. |

I want Donald and Peta to win this year - Katherine and Mark gets on my nerves so I want them to be 3rd and William and Cheryl to be 2nd.

I'm glad Katherine is doing her Jive again. Will Len automatically deduct a mark because of the choreography again? He better not after giving Maria's Jive a 9.

After seeing all the freestyles I'm feeling more postive about Donald's chances of winning
- it was definetly for me the most entertaining of the 3.I was disappointed with William and Cheryl's freestyle - there was just no wow factor - she seemed taken aback by Len's comments too but as harsh as they might have seemed he was right! Katherine and Mark's freestyle - it was good but it lacked the edge of of Donalds and Mark's lifts were awkward! |
