Awe Mark is London bound to join Kath for the Jubilee celebrations, he maybe at the Derby then, to see her sing the National Anthem for the Queen tomorrow and spend a week or more, think he was coming over for a friend's wedding next week anyway. She is at Whitehaven Festival today so he might just make it here for that.

Kristina Rihanoff has tweeted Mark, to find out if they will be seeing the SCD dancing too, on Saturday and Sunday. So Mark and Kath might join up with them.

I know that Mark said that he was supposed to go to London in a couple of weeks for his best's friend wedding but it seems like he decided to go a bit early to see the Jubilee

Maks and Karina got together during the season that he danced with MelB. Apparently, he'd had a crush on her for 16 years (or something ), they fell in love and got engaged pretty quickly, made quite a public splash of the relationship (including a pretty tacky lingerie/bedroom shoot iirc ), talked about wedding plans, which K delayed because they were busy etc and then broke up after 9 months engagement. It was just before the series when he danced with Debbie (Mazar ?) and K was dancing with Aaron Somebody. It was all quite awkward behind the scenes and Maks was like a wounded animal. He wouldn't give much detail, but said that K betrayed him. She said something along the lines of, it was great being in love, but deep down, she knew all along that Maks wasn't the one. Very shortly after, she was filmed snogging Brad Penny (baseball player, iirc) in a club and they later got engaged...and have since broken up.

It seemed to me that Mark and Tony were just being a bit obvious about whose side they were on.

I think I may have taken an unhealthy interest at the time!

Im sure that whatever happens some of them made up. At least Karina and Mark did. I remember her sending him a tweet before this final saying that" she liked his freestyle "(Im paraphrasing) and he said thanks love you Karisha lol. And from what I have seen they are pretty friendly on the show

Now on to Maks &Peta: well good luck to them even if I dont think its going to last (hey what do I know? lol).
I always felt that Maks was more into Karina than she was into him. I like them both individually(well I like Karina more and Maks even more less now) and I remember being at their engagement and the tacky ET video (urghh still remember it) so while I wished them the best I knew that it wasnt going to last. Wow and I didnt expect their break-up to be so huge/tacky.....
Anyway, thats why when I see Vincent&Flavia my fav. strictly couple , I am so amazed at how they have remain such good friends and more importantly very professional :Thats the way to go. Of course everyone is different.

Maks may be on of the oldest dwts pro, but imo he is the most immature.He should learn 1 or 2 thing about Derek,Mark, Cheryl even Chelsie who are 5/6 years younger than him but much more professional

Thats one thing that I like about Mark and Tony . Aside from Maks ,they are the ones who are not usually so PC(I learned that word from a Derek's interview lol, which means Politically Correct.
Tony can be quite frank and still comes out as a good guy.
When Maks and Mark do the same they are called jerks, douchebags . Although Mark has calm down recently and has regain some of the fans that he "lost" especially during season 12 with Chelsea Kane.

I think there is a fine line between being rude,disrespecful or just being honest. Imho, thats one of the reasons why Maks still hasn't won.
I respect him for telling his opinion and speaking out against some of the machinery that goes into the show but I think that he doesnt go about it the right way and sometimes whatever comes out of his mouth is just being disrespectful.
I have my issues with Len and Carrie A. as many viewers do but I find it so disrespectful the way he talked back to Len a couple of seasons before and the way he talks to Carrie. A.(especially the latter;I know that a lot of pros have issues with her being a judge but she is clearly there for a reason and they have to remember that its not a proper dance competition but a "dance Tv show").

Hi Karma and everyone, I am ok thanks. Our DWTS does not compare to the UK and US versions. Just not as polished to me. We can be very casual in our outlook, like a bit of fun and don't mind taking the mickey out of each other. We have a few celebs left that are exactly that. Brian Mannix, 80's Rocker, absolutely hilarious, cannot dance, but is loving every moment of the show, and that is why he is still in, people love him...Brendan Fevola, former Aussie Rules footballer, not one of my favs, did not like him as a footballer, but do like his fun attitude on the show, another one that cannot dance. Agree that Johnny Ruffo seems full of himself, he is one for the younger female fans Not my type Only 5 celebs left, our 3 boys named here and Danielle Spencer and Zoe Crammond....Still think Danielle and Zoe will be in the final, and if I had to pick a 3rd it would probably be Johnny. Shannon Noll is very popular in Oz, but had to pull out due to injury I would have loved to see how he would have progressed. We have 2 dances this week, one plus an "instant dance"

They are not televising the SCD part of the Jubilee Celebrations. I would have thought it would attract quite a lot of viewers. Such a shame....hopefully a SCD fan will upload on Youtube, we can only hope

Brian is funny, he reminds me of a cross between Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood lol. Yes can see Danielle, Zoe and Johnny in the finals too. Not sure how popular they are with your public so could be a different outcome, only going on what I have seen from the Youtube clips. Yes can see they take the mickey out of each other which I like and don't take themselves too seriously.

Thought the pro dancers don't seem so sharp or so innovative in their choreography. I don't know if that's because your celebs look like they haven't had any dance training on the whole, so have a different start and finish point than say some on US DWTS & SCD, Damian W seems the best dancer and choreographer on the show from what I've seen.

Well I dont think thats a valid excuse because if Mark can teach Bristol how to dance and Derek, Maks,...Cheryl,Lacey do a good job with the choreo so should they.
This just reinforces my opinion that a good professional dancer is not necessarily a good teacher or choreographer

Thanks Karma, good find re the Danielle and Zoe interview. To me, this is the most animated that Danielle has been, probably more relaxed than being on the dance floor. On the other hand I thought Zoe was a little subdued, still a nice interview. Kerri Anne Kennerley was also a contestant on the current series. She came from Ch 9 and was hyped up so much, the new darling of Channel 7. Not a fan of her. It was rather odd, because Kerri Anne came from Ch9 to go to Ch 7, and co-host Sonia Kruger left DWTS (Ch 7) and went to Ch 9 I am one of those that does not mind Mel B, I just tape the show and fast forward her

The other point I was going to make but thought I would sound too rude, was not such good pro dancers, but agree some dancers don't translate to teaching very true or can't adapt to how different people learn.

Yes Kerri Anne asked Danielle and Zoe questions didn't listen to the answers, before talking over them, hate that. When I Youtube bits, don't bother watching Mel B lol, the bit I saw of her in the beginning, she asked a question and you could see she was bursting to butt in, before they had got a sentence out. She's either a novice interviewer or another 'me' person or both lol.

I like how your scores are shown while the dancers are standing right by the judges, can you imagine that here or DWTS US lol, may not be so contained if the paddles showed 1,2 or 3's, although the likely-hood of that for the US version, very remote.

I have thought the same about the pro dancers, but they should not out shine the celeb. I would say that most or all of the male celebs have no dance experience at all and the pros do a great job getting together a routine that is going to highlight their celeb. I am loving Damian W on the show...a nice asset for us, hope he is invited back. We have had a few new pro dancers this season, nice change, the show does need freshening up from time to time

The 3 boys left are a great fun part of the show, cheeky so and so's I cannot wait for Brian Mannix's training package, they are so much fun...
