glitchy breakup tv tuner not sure why
i have a sort of daisy chain set up, an sd freeview tuner which runs via coax to an hd tuner which runs via coax to the tv (panasonic flatscreen)
when selecting tv tuner i get some pixellation and breakup on itv2 but not when selecting itv2 on either of the external tuners signal quality and strength on the tv tuner itv2 showing 100% |

Check the quality of the cabling between the devices. If you are using those cheap supermarket special cables then that might be the problem. They tend to be not very well made so can degrade the signal more than a decent grade of cable with good quality plugs properly terminated.
Another cause can be what other cables are in close proximity to the aerial leads. It has been reported here on DS several times that HDMI cables can cause interference into the aerial lead if they get wrapped round each other. That is much more likely to happen with cheap poorly screened cables. So might be worth spending a couple of minutes sorting out the rats nest of wires at the back of the telly and keeping the aerial as far away as practical from everything else.
