Back at the hotel, we got told to be quiet in the room as we were being too noisy and apparently customers had complained haha!! Did this stop us?? Ermmm nope!! We took the bar downstairs as the hotel once closed at 11pm – absolutely ridiculous. There we were sat downstairs with a million and 1 bottles reminiscing and having a good old chin wag. Afterall it’s what we do best!! At around 3pm me and pea decided to head up to bead as we were shattered from the long day but by the time we got to the room we were wide awake again, so we chatted in bed and complained about it. The mattress was far to soft and we we’re either ron top of each other or falling out the bed it was so bloomin small!! Around 4.30 am we took some headache tablets and that was it. Hello land of nod.
The next morning we woke at 8.30 and headed down for breakfast in our onesies. Just about everyone else was already there. I ordered some sausage, bacon and egg and I think I was the only one who really enjoyed it!! At one point I was sat on the floor in amongst a group of ladies just munching a sausage. Casual. I then decided to pop over to the Hilton and head to asda with some people from there. By goli do I love asda!! I got some more alcohol, crisps and some much needed lucozade. I arrived back to the hotel around 1.30ish and headed straight to the swan to see the guys again. When I got there I saw some people sat outside having a ciggy and was told someone was looking for me. Who could it be?? The anticipation was killing me. So I went inside and someone shouted look here she is and the next thing I know the lovely phil is shouting me!! The next thing I knew I’d jumped on her and given her a massive hug as well as kirsty (pumkin) and Claire (hairbear – I think!!) I was in need of some serious munchies and alcohol so I got myself a cheese sandwhich and chips. Whilst I was waiting and swigging on a cherry cider mmmmmm I remembered jan saying she was going to pick up her room mate snowflake at 12pm. Now I’ve gotta be honest I had no idea who the girl was so I just shouted snowflake at the top of my voice across a room of mockers and waited for someone to turn around which thankfully she did or I would of made a right idiot outta myself. I also said hello to cheeky sausage, which I have to be honest took me a couple of hours to digest who she was!! It suddenly hit me who she was about 2 hours after I met her!! I’m a bit slow……..I also met sarah (smoody) I love her!! And wendy (I’ve forgotten her username…..) she had to leave before the party bless her, but what a trouper coming up to see us for the afternoon and I’m every so glad she did
The drinking then continued for a bit in voddies room which included apple sours shots!! Yummy!! I have to say hazy have a little sip of that was hilarious!! She didn’t like it bless her and I’m not one to let alcohol go to waste so I finished it off for her. At 5.30 we thought it might be a good idea to get ready for the party make ourselves look somewhat presentable. Pea jumped in the bath and I had a showed and tried to scrub some of the fake tan off so I didn’t look quite as much like an oompa lumpa and I’m pleased to report this was a success!! We were just chilling and suddenly realised it was 6.30 and we were supposed to be meeting voddie at 7!! All hell broke loose getting ready. We were actually on time tho!! Whilst having a ciggy again I suddenly realised I’d left the tickets upstairs so I had to kick my shoes off (there was no way I was running in them) and leg it upstairs to retrieve them. The others had already left by the time I got back so me and pea headed off to the party. When we got there we got a little bit lost trying to get in and couldn’t find the entrance. We ended up coming in the back entrance and getting told off by den and had to do the walk of shame to the proper entrance.
After we’d finally gained entrance the first thing I did was head straight to the bar before it got too busy (I am not an alcoholic, I am not an alcoholic) i’m not going to comment on the price as I was already intoxicated so didn’t really listen haha!! I took a perch in a seat but that wasn’t to last long, within 5 minutes I was running round saying hello to the lovely donna. It was her first time to anything like that so I hope I made a good impression – not bloomin likely. Within minutes the room had filled up with more people. I was like whoa!!! It was so lovely to see so many people all joined together to share our obsession – there’s no other way to describe it!! I didn’t realise at the time that the group on the table at the front were all from this thread, but I can’t help but think how lovely it is that you felt you could still come and party with us. I can honestly say I think you’re a gorgeous bunch of people and I’m very glad you did come. Ok I’m waffling now…..where was i??......oh yeh the party!! When just about everyone had arrived, Josie arrived
And very quietly I must say, it too me a few seconds to notice as I was walking round talking to people. She had some photo’s taken with harry and proceeded to hobble to the front. On her way tho I was stood in front of her and she went “Hi Rhiii” she recognised me!!!!!!!!! I went all mushy inside at this. She really is so much more beautiful in the flesh, I don’t want people to think I’m sucking up to her, I’m telling the truth. And her bum is amazing!! She was wearing a bright blue dress, and I’m not kidding she looked absolutely stunning. It fitted her perfectly showing off her figure. The room genuinely did light up when she entered and she has a great presence about her which is just beautiful, you can’t help but smile. I think what makes her so lovely is that she doesn’t realise just how attractive she is, and can’t quite understand why we love her.
As she was making her way to the front she was stopping to hug people so it took her ages!! She’s forgotten her crutches as well so was having to hobble leaning on chairs as she went. When she finally got to the front, she was meet with hug applause and cheers, you could see in her face just how happy she was to be there. Den passed her the mic and she made a short speech about how meningitis had affected her life with her brother harry. The bit that gave me goose bumps was when she talked about the friendships formed which always get me emotional when thinking about it. She didn’t take any credit for it and we all know that if it wasn’t for her and John none of us would have the friendships that we have today. She also said a big thanks to Den, Shez and Cazie. Some of the hate those girls have copped off people calling them un-paid pa’s when I don’t think people really realise just how hard the work to keep us updated. If it wasn’t for what they do, we would never be able to come together.
Can’t actually remember what happened after that so I’ll fast forward to Josie’s surprise. I was outside having just lit up a fag along with about 7 others when den came out and told us all to put them out, have a quick wee and get back into the room. It was like we were little kids again haha!! So off we all trotted in and took a seat. Over the weekend there had been much deliberation (is that the right word??) about who it could be, from ed sheeran to jedward and I even through barak obama in at one point pmsl. I was all excited to see who it was, when who walked in?? only mr Ben Duncan!!!!! Luke had become super hero again and had to drive to pick him up as he was stranded somewhere. I’ve gotta be honest, I didn’t think much to him in the house as I didn’t like some of his views, but I can say hand on heart my perception of him has completely changed. He had so much time for everyone and even gave me a quick hug and kiss on his way to the front. People have said that people have been sucking up to him, but peoples perceptions change. Josie had made friends with him and you could see the genuine friendship when they hugged each other. They had obviously moved on from the house and you could tell they would be life-long friends. He gave a short speech about his journey up and gave a little bit of info about him, and I must say he had me in stitches. He really is a very comical person. After that the auction began!! There was so many things up for grabs from spa getaways to dresses, perfume and signed photo’s. I have to say my favourite auction item was a little bench josie had managed to get a hold off. Shez had had to drive to wales bless her to pick it up for the party. Josie sat down and modelled it for us and the bidding began. Auntie kay bid on it bless her as did josie. It was a Gibson war haha!! But what was really sweet was josie bid £50 and said she was buying for her auntie kay. You can tell how much she thinks of her auntie kay and how much she thinks of her. When they were having photo’s taken at the beginning, this was evident. The big smiles on their faces was just an absolute pleasure to see. I did bid on a dress myself, but I already have on in my collection from a few months ago so I left it for someone else who would like it. I must say the dress up for auction was gorgeous tho. It was the bright pink one josie wore when she presented one of the oktv episodes with jeff. Apparently it was a 16 but I don’t think it was she’s definitely not that size!!

Where else would the woman be. Trundled off to our room to unpack and gather our thoughts and, of course, to bring out my John teddy, who certainly wasn't going to miss this party. Just wouldn't be right, would it.
