Eric Prydz vs Go West - We Close Our Eyes
Anyone heard this yet ? Another hit I reckon, but I don't think it will make number one.
He has done much better (and original) productions over the last couple of years but I guess he is just trying to cash in on the success of Call On Me. |

I've heard this and the only reaction i can give is "blah"
Some of Prydz other stuff is awesome, Slammin', Woz not Woz, his reworking of Adeva etc and Call On Me was alright for the first few listens, though very much a homage to the much superior "So much love to give". We close our eyes however is so formulaic, cynical, meritless pap that Eric is in danger of killing his reputation. |

Haven't heard this yet - I really hope it isn't a desperate attempt to recreate the success of Call On Me.
I used to love that tune - I remember hearing it for the first time in June in Air, it really took the roof off. It's suffered so much from the commercial success - I can't stand it any more, and can't play it in the car without becoming an instant chav magnet I guess getting into the chart isn't such a good thing as it appears - so in a way I'm glad artists like Tiesto, PvD and AvB have never really 'broken' the UK chart scene. |
