Its a pretty solid phone as you'd expect.
Beats audio is a bit of a gimmick as its only really a graphic equaliser setting. Everyone will recommend the phone they have but the xe is on most peoples shortlist. |

Chuffin brilliant phone!
Had it a month after 18 months with a Desire. The difference between them Faster, smoother, amazing 8 m pix camera with very good HD 1080p video. So glad I had it. I've loaded all the apps I had on my desire that filled the memory, and I've only used 10% of the Sensation XE's memory. Beat's audio sounds amazing and the ear buds are the most comfortable in ear buds I've used. When I plug it into my car system, the beats audio still works (I thought it wouldn't) Love the bass. Have a look at it on this comparison website. http://geekaphone.com/compare/Apple-...C-Sensation-XE Try putting iPhone 4s in as the comparison, and you'll see why I went for another HTC! |

Ive had it 3 days now - its a great phone.
The difference in internet speed from the desire is amazing, and i like the fact that it doesnt load mobile internet sites, like the desire did, which was infuriating. The sound quality is great, and i agree with the above, the earphones are really comfortable. The only issue is battery life - but you can get a decent battery on amazon for 12 - 20 quid. |

The internet speed between the Desire and Sensation should not be any different.
You could have changed a setting on the desire, so it didnt load the mobile sites, but the full sites. The data speed may be unchanged but the page will show quicker. |

The time to render the page will be quicker thus giving a better overall impression of speed.
The data speed may be unchanged but the page will show quicker. I was just stating that the internet speed would not be faster on one phone than another (assuming both were with the same provider and same location). |

I assumed that having a faster processor/more ram would have accounted for the perceived speed increase.

Also turn the screen brightness down to about 70%, bright enough for outdoors use and will save loads. Also don't have the weather on your lock screen. Again cuts down on syncing every time you use the screen! |

I changed my Wildfire for an XE in January. I'm generally happy except that I had to swap it within a week due to a dodgy screen and now I've lost data connection which seems to be a hardware fault again. I may be just unlucky but two faults in a few months is not great. It is fast, the screen is excellent and the beats audio is very good. Also the memory is perfectly adequate as long as you use the microSD properly.
