When Does an Upgrade Start
Ive just upgraded my iphone 3GS to an iphone 4S.with Vodafone.
I have a new tariff and I'm keeping the same number. I was sent a new sim with the phone as the 3g phone has the larger sim. I set up my new phone and transfered all my contacts, photos, aps,,etc onto the new phone. The only problem is that i've got no service on the new phone and the 3G is working as normal. My old tariff was due to run out on the 25th of April. Do I have to wait until then before the new tariff kicks in and I can start to use the new phone or have I not done something right during set up? |

At some point you/Vodafone will need to move your number onto the new sim, I don't know but I guess you will need to call them to ask for this to happen. Again i don't know for sure but I would think the taffif has changed allready.

![]() Have logged onto my account online and the new tariff is in place. Read on another thread that it can take up to 24 hours for number to be transfered onto new sim. As long as I have one working phone for now then I'm happy, but if nothing happens by tomorrow then I'll give Vodaphone a call. |

Did you not get given a website or something to put the details into in order to initiate the transfer of everything from the old sim to the new micro-sim? O2 have something like o2.co.uk/swapmysim
Once that's done, they say wait until you get no service on your old SIM, then put the new microsim into the iPhone and power on. |
