Bbc iplayer on galaxy mini

Just brought a galaxy mini. Does anyone know if this phone can bemade to work with iplayer?

I take it that when you go into the market (or whatever it is now), it says you can't use flash?
With a 600 MHz processor, it sounds as though it will need overclocking, so that means you would have to root it and put on a suitable ROM.

Oh heck, that sounds too technical for me! Should I have brought the 'Ace' instead? I did consider it, but it was twice the price.

Wouldn't of mattered if you bought the Ace as its based around the same ARMv6 architecture as the Mini.

Flash and therefore iPlayer needs ARMv7 officially, the new Mini 2 and Ace Plus are ARMv7 based last I checked.

Thanks, drabble . At least I know the extra sixty quid I saved by plumping for the mini was a good call.
