I want tabby to be voted out!
SlashNX

I want Tabby toi be voted out, not because I don't like him, but because it wo0uld be hugely more beneficial for his career for him to be taken aunder Sharons wing rather than the X factor get their hands on him. If his career started with him winning X factor he would probably appear plastic and a bit fake like others have in the past (this isn't slating them as performers/singers) but if he was to be voted out he could start his career pushing the X factor aside a bit. Sharon really knows what songs he should sing, and I don't think Tabby needs to win X factor to have a big career, unlike people like Rohetta (sorry if I spelt her name wrong) and Steve and all the others, who need this competition to push them into stardom. Does anyone else agree?

I agree with wanting him voted out. But i want him to go coz I dont like him and he is nothing more than Ainslie n Peter from FA1&2.

I remember reading an interview with Simon Cowell once where he really slated Peter and made fun of the judges for fawning over him when he had no talent whatsoever and they simply wanted him in the show as they considered him so "alternative" and would make the programme seem more credible. Simon must have a very short memory.

I suspect that Trevor wants to stop in. He was very excited when his name was called out

Aww bless little Trev
Coming back to the Slashmeisters post...HE IS FAKE,as fake as a Christmas cake decoration.
He would NEVER rise above pub rock act...unlike Rowetta who performed with The Monday's at venues as big as Rock in Rio to 100,000 plus, now that is the bigtime.
Trev on the other hand will still be,along with Stevo, playing at The Dog and Duck.
Back to Sligo with you Trev, the baby needs a nappy change....(I'm BAD I'm Nationwide. )

Personally i think that if you desperately need a show like this to make you a star then you're going to last about 15 minutes in the music industry. Once the show is off the air, the first single will do well, prob sell bucket loads...but then people will forget about the contestants pretty soon. E.g. Michelle from Pop Idol. Apart from Will Young, all the other contestants music careers have gone down the gutter pretty quickly. Anyone remember Rick Waller? His management had planned a whole hall in butlins or something to sing and only 2 people came.

I agree with Simon about Peter , the guy has is a proven prat!

Tabby can and does sing in tune , and doesnt rely on jumping around on stage like a lunatic.

I liked Ainslie he could sing in tune(although he didnt always do it on the live performances) and is a great performer. Ainslie is a good songwriter too.
Yes Ainslie jumped around a bit , but he didnt totally rely on this.

I was one of the people who thought Tabby should n't be in the finals , but fair play to the guy, he has turned in two great performances.

I just dont get it when people try to " lump" these 3 together?

I hate it when people do that, they're talents are very different (Except for Peter who had no discernable talent whatsoever). But because all three were the token "alternative" artist, they're always going to be compared. Plus Ainslie and Tabby both performed "You Really Got Me" so naturally there were always going to be comparisons.

Girls Aloud, Liberty X, Phixx, Alex Parks and even the Cheeky Girls have done well enough out of reality TV shows and are all still around and doing well enough. So its not just Will that has done well. The winner of the X Factor could experience the same amount of success especially if they build up a big enough fan base.

Pls Pls refrain from comparing these acts with WILL, it's just embarrassing for them!!! No one, not even AI winners can compare to the success of Will, albums, singles, concerts all No.1s and sell outs!!! So how could you compare?

Also, Darius.

I see what you mean here SlashNX but I'm not sure I entirely agree. Is it not also the case that he could win and still be managed by Sharon, or is the winner automatically turned over to Simon? Either way, I don't think winning will be a big factor either way. You've got Will Young and Girls Aloud as your examples of successful winners, and then you've got Liberty X and Darius as your successful losers (also the others mentioned above). There is no hard and fast rule here, although it is an interesting point.

Taken under 'Sharon's wing'? I'm not quite sure why Sharon is on the show. She doesn't seem to have a large rosta of acts - I can only think of one - her husband - and he was already a big name in the industry when she started to manage him. (sorry, maybe one other - her daughter!!) But under 'Sharon's wing' he is starting to be shown in an odd way - an old Slade song with a children's choir backing him! Very 'christmas' I know, but also very 'twee' and not the correct format for Tabby.

Im not debating whether sharon is right for the show, though I suspect she was brought on merely as an audience grabber rather than a judge with a great fair honest opinion. But Sharon has done well in helping tabby out, she chose two great songs for tabby, and the Slade one was a really rsiky voice but Tabby pulled it off. I think if Tabby was managed by Sharon she would know the songs to give him better than some one like Simon Cowell and definately than the Louis!
