What does every cat expect to find in an empty box that it simply cannot resist climbing inside one?

Empty boxes, clean laundry, paperwork.... One of mine also has a 'thing' for a particular jumper my OH wears. Every time he wears it, the cat HAS to sit/lie/drape across him.

LOL.Tell me about it. Yesterday I recieved my sandals from KG and I took the box out of the packaging and our cat comes over to have a sniff at them and them climbs into the box lined with tissue paper and makes herself at home. It's strange behaviour. What is so great about a cardboard box and then she decides to chew the edge!. My sister's cat loves cardboard boxes too. It's a good job my partners dog doesn't try this or he'd squash the entire box with his leg!

My cat had a thing about open draws. I'd leave one open and she would climb inside, walk about right to the back of the drawer, under the clothes and then get out. She also loves going under the duvet and having a walk about, meowing at the same time. I like it when she settles by my feet in the winter and keeps them warm.

My cat sleeps in a box! I had to put one of those plastic boxes on the front doorstep and put a blanket in it because he loves sleeping in boxes so much. He has his very own little shed outside that has two cat beds in it, but refuses to use it in favor of his box. He is a strange cat.

Every time I get something that comes in a box, I have to leave it out for about a month for the kits to play in. The big box that their bulk litter came in became the place Nini jumped in to groom herself as soon as she finished eating.

Shenene loved the one in the living room and used to jump in it and bite the edges, and I would make the flaps move as if there was something on them and she'd put her little paws out and bat it. This one last six months, then I had to get rid as it looked awful. Sorry, Nene!

One of my cats loves climbing into bags and the other one open drawers.

My cat doesn't even play, she just sits there looking bored like she's waiting for a bus! Any new box that comes into the house must be sat in quietly for at least an hour before it can be recycled!

I caught my boycat with his paw in the small hole thats often left when you fold all the flaps in... he was so startled by my stepping into the room that he couldn't get his paw out
He just sat and looked at me with one paw in the hole as though it was perfectly natural
If he'd been a person he'd have been saying "What? nothing to see here "
