Hi guys, i'm just wondering what methods some of you use when selling concert tickets really.

Me & my friend where going to see Steps in Liverpool on April 4th but we can't go anymore so want to sell the tickets asap. The seats are to the side of the stage lower tier so they're not bad at all but i'm wondring how I can get them sold!

We've put them up on ebay but when I search for tickets for the same show, there are lots on sale and no one is bidding on them.

We paid £40 each for a ticket and we only want to sell them for face value and even if we have to go lower by £10 or so as long as we get something back which we paid for!

What other places could I try and sell them on and if anyone on here is interested?!

Did you put them up on ebay with a buy it now price of face value or less? I find they go quicker if they're not in demand and people don't have to bid.

Well we put starting price £75 for 2 tickets as people selling tickets a few rows below us are selling at like £150 for 2 :\

I would but both of them for £70.00

If you want to ensure your tickets go to real fans, it is worth giving The Ticket Trust a try. You get the cost of the tickets and the fans buying the tickets aren't being ripped off.

I've had a look at this site and I really like the idea behind it. Maybe I'm missing something (I haven't read all the bumf) but what would stop touts buying the tickets at face value from here and selling them on?

Do Steps have a fan site of their own? Sometimes it is better to sell spare or not wanted tickets to genuine fans who were unable to get them.

In think because a tout isn't going to be interested in buying the odd one or two tickets. I am sure they would keep an eye on buying patterns and the like as you have to give a name, address, and card details.

Ah, I didn't read all the bumf like I said. I hope the site is a success then.
