Click the Google Play logo at the top and it moves you onto their site.

I think it's a real step backwards... it's hard to see on a fairly decent resolution smart phone so I dread to think how unusuable it'll be on the real low spec ones!

Urghh what are they thinking!

It seems that Motorola phones may be affected differently - typical as I've just received my Motorola Defy+ this morning and am trying to download apps and it won't let me, my account shows apps that I had with my old phone and won't let me install to the new phone.....

edit: just rebooted my Defy+ and the old market is working again.

Exactly ! its the same thing with a different name that can be used across platforms now.

The icons will change too from Market to Play on phones.

A case of taking the horse nearer to the water.

I doubt anyone visited Google movies or Google music more than once.

Google Music - ha I didnt know about that !

I have used Samsung Music Hub to download albums etc. They use 7Digital and the quality and price is very good.

indeed.... the first time I used google movies was 2 days ago by pure coincidence.

So, I've found that my new Motorla Defy+ is giving me an older version of Android Market compared to my Orange San Fransisco.....something clearly odd going on here, both phones on Android 2.3.5

Some nice bargains on the Play Store. Like lots of the 49p apps and on a tablet some of the movies look like a bargain if you have WiFi. Streaming using 3G might be an issue for many with capped monthly data limits.
