weli voted nokia as i feel that their phones are constantly good. i have a samsung d500 but getting a new phone soon as contract is up. its a mix between samsung d600e, sony ericsson 750i and the nokia n70. what you think of these phones and which is the best?

Had nokia and samsungs mostly and always found nokia to be very good phones, but then i havent had loads of them like some people.

Cheers

I don't stick to just the one manufacturer, since 1999 i've had 2 Motorola's, 3 Nokia's, 1 Sharp and 1 Sony Ericsson.

My current phone is a Nokia 6600 - I hate it, I'm in the process of buying a SE K750i.

Started off with a Nokia 5146, switched to a Siemens C35i after a year - couldn't wait to get rid of that as the battery would only last two days at most. Less if I actually used to to text or make calls.

Been using Nokia's ever since - got a 6230i just now and sister has my old 3510.

I have to say the Nokia have great software in terms of the menu system and intuitiveness. Hardware-wise I'd say have to say it varies based upon the fone but not nokia. Having experienced both worlds, I'd say the use of it is more important so go nokia for having (mostly) easy to use fones.

I've only ever used Nokia phones. I started off with the relatively basic 5146, which I did like a lot. I now have a 7250 and a 6230i. The 6230i is an excellent phone IMO.

Just gone back to Nokia. I find text messaging is so much easier with Nokia phones, plus the ringtones are loud! I've just sold a Samsung as the volume of the ringtones and text message tones was too quiet - even full on. I missed loads of calls and texts when I had the phone in my bag or when I was in a noisy place!

Just adding: I also have a 6230i and love it!

I used to work for Ericsson and swore I would never use another of there phones after they closed all UK manufacturing and off-shored it. Making me redundant 5 years ago.

However since then I have used Nokia (used as a Company mobile) until recently. In my recent selection of phone, I went against conscience and got Sony Ericssson (K750i).

I have to say I prefer Sony Ericsson phones.
