2 To Go

Am I one of the only people that think they are great?

I think Peter's voice is by far the best on the whole show. I also think Emma accompanies him very well - I think they give a bit of class to the show.

I also dont think they are dated, perhaps their styling is a bit off but that's no fault of their own.

I cant remember when we last had a good male/female duo.

I for one, hope they do really well.

they are very average in my opinion-i think he is much more talented then her (her voice is quite sharp and grating to my ears)

do we actually NEED a good male/female duo?

they are SO dated-they need to stop doing 80's type ballads.Even the way they interract with each other is tacky.they are just blah

Do we need a fat female trio?

I just think they are relatively different and I respect that.

I genuinely get tingles when they sing as well, I could listen to Pete all day.

I think its difficult for them to have songs picked for them - we think of most duets as cheesy anyway, so most songs they choose are doomed anyway.

I hope Louis will give them a song that will make them this week - a slightly more up tempo song that is not a typical duet. Might help them along a bit.

Or, he'll give them "A whole new world" from Aladdin and ruin them...

I <3 2 To Go. They won't win - but I wish that Peter dropped Emma from the start. Even Simon Cowell admits he would have walked into the 16-24 category.

i would be interested to see what they could do with a more uptempo number-last week they could have done something really interesting since they had the piano but no,louis cheeses the nation out yet again

2 to go - Peters & Lee for the new millenium.

Gimmicky and distinctly average.

For you youngsters who can't remember

Much as this sounds sad, I actually am entertained by 2 To Go...I liked their performances both last week and this week, and although I don't think they have anything very special or unique about them, they're really cute (Awwww) and they have good voices, I think maybe a more upbeat song next week would be nice from them

I don't like 2 to go because they are so boring and we've already done Peters and Lee! The whole show should be called not the X-Factor but the Des O'Connor Tonight factor - apart from Tabby.

Ive pretty much made it clear how much I want them to win and enjoy their performances.

All you fellow fans of Pete and Emma make sure you vote for em like crazy on Saturday for gods sake!

I like 2 to go - I think they both have very good voices and work well together.

I agree with Laura 90210, kaye and shortysally that a more upbeat song would be good for them next week - Any ideas?

I am someone who remembers acts in the 70s. They would have gone down not too badly then, but I think there's just not a current niche for a duo. Peter is a good singer and Emma CAN be good, but over the long term? Dunno. Like Sals, I do get enetrtained by them.

Maybe they should sing "These boots are made for walking"! It would be interesting to hear how they cope with that sort of duet.

I like them (although I haven't voted for them as I prefer some of the other acts ).
They would do well with an up-tempo song that is not necessarily a duet,
I only want to be with you- Dusty Springfield/the Tourists
Dancing in the moonlight- Toploader

There's something very sincere about their performances which I like, but I really don't see them doing all that well. I don't think they're all that well matched and to be honest I really can't see what market they'd appeal to. I was glad they stayed on Sat instead of Verity, but unless they do something really special, I can't see them lasting more than another week or so.

Thank you young bailey,
You saved me a post!!
If truth be told 2 be gone soon wouldn't last a minute at a chicken in a basket venue like The Lakeside Club...the Lakeside like their cheese to be at the very least, professional.

I keep having this awful feeling that Louis is going to have them singing a Kylie & Jason song very soon.

I hope Louis realises this may be his last chance. Surely they need to prove they're a bit versatile to survive? Pete said last week that if they go through, who knows what they might do this week! You got through - by the skin of your teeth. Pleasssse sing something with a bit of LIFE! Emma's young - get her out of those maroon velvet jackets and give the poor girl a new funky haircut! Right now Emma IS Claire in Corrie/Sandy in Grease!

Agreed. Emma is the one who invites the Peters & Lee comparisons even more so than Pete - she actually looks like Diane Lee.
Song suggestion (again): When You're Gone - Bryan Adams & Mel C

I think they suffered with an anaemic song that virtually no-one had ever heard of. They could do much better than that, I feel, with the right song.

I think they should sing something more upbeat like Don't Go Breaking My Heart or something! I'd like that!
