A question I meant to ask after the Scottish Cup final but forgot. What is your rating, out of 10, for your team this season?

I'd give Celtic a 7.

Got to a final and semi final but with disappointing outcomes, had a 'good' run of results in Europe and the league run we went on to overtake Rangers long before they went into administration was brilliant.

I realise it is all relative but it would have been an 8 if we'd got a double and 9 if we'd got the treble. Getting 2 away draws in Europe this season showed the team that they had a bit of strength and belief IMO.

Another question, which ex-SPL player would you still like to have in the league? Alexei Eremenko was superb at Killie, a player you really enjoyed watching.

how to rate Morton's season, that is a hard question, we started off well top of the league for the first 10 games or something like that and then reality set in and we quickly fell down the league and looked like heading for a relegation battle. Some heavy losses against teams that we should have been beating

a 6-0 hammering in the Scottish cup at Motherwell, funnily one of the highlights of the season was our 4-3 defeat against St M****n in the League Cup as it was a brilliant game that could have gone either way.

so 3/10 and that is probably being generous.

I would give Falkirk a 9/10. Financial restraints due to overspending in the SPL (plus other things) meant we had no chance of going up, so its been a great season for us.

The 'youth' team was our first team effectively and what they have achieved is fantastic. 3rd in the league, beating Rangers, beating Dundee Utd and a semi final! I was expecting a mid table finish so I'm more than happy with what we got.

We missed Kallum Higginbotham in the second half of the season due to him being signed by Huddersfield, Him and Farid El Allagui were brilliant together.

I'm going to give Dundee 7.5/10.

To finish second after what happened last season has to be seen as a good achievement, and it some ways shows that we at least were able to consolidate our position (we effectively finished second last season as well, if you add the 25pts back on). But, alas, second is nowhere.

Our biggest problem was teams that came to Dens and sat in. We found it very difficult to break them down, and on far too many occasions were caught out at the back and ended up losing. But when Falkirk came to town, and went all out to try and win, we played some of our best football and ultimately got a pair of wins.

I'd give Hibs a 4/10....

Our team is in disarray but getting to the cup final suddenly it could have been a 10/10 season had we won it. We were absolutely rank rotten in the league, no leadership, no attacking qualities however I believe Fenlon is the man and we eventually found a leader in McPake. Calderwood has severely damaged us with his negative football which set us backwards and eventually the team got resigned to losing and not scoring many goals. 11th place is not what we are about. Top 6 has to be the aim next season. With top 4 the season after. We need to aim high otherwise what's the point in competing in the shambles that is our SPL.

With a few good signings and retaining some of our loanees we should hugely improve. Hopefully the cup final is a sign of things to come. I'd like to keep McPake and Griffiths (despite me not liking him) he is the type of player with the passion we need. I think Motherwell and St Johnstone were having a one off season so i'd think obviously Celtic and Rangers top 2, Dundee Utd clear 3rd then 4th is up for grabs IMO.

Probably have to give Dundee United 8/10 recovering from the dreadful start, slight dissapointment in not getting third, we would have been third by miles if we had a slightly better start. Qualified for Europe again which is fine

Director Dave King calls for Rangers CVA rejection
Rangers director Dave King is urging creditors to reject Charles Green's company voluntary arrangement when they meet on 14 June.

South Africa-based King has also called on the club's supporters not to renew their season tickets until Green's consortium details its plans.

"I am opposing the CVA and urge all loyal fans to do the same," said the exiled Scot.

"We don't want to be back in a similar situation next season."

And King, Rangers' second largest shareholder, added: "I also believe that all true Rangers fans should not buy any season tickets until full and frank disclosure has been provided by Duff & Phelps, Mr Green, and [owner] Mr [Craig] Whyte, as to what is truly going on behind the scenes."

and more .....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18348451

Prospective Rangers owner Charles Green is to ask fans to vote on renaming Murray Park, the club's training ground at Milngavie, just outside Glasgow.

Green is suggesting fans name the facility after Moses McNeil, a Rangers founder, or the late Ibrox winger Davie Cooper when they renew season tickets.

The complex opened in 2001 during the lengthy tenure of former Rangers owner Sir David Murray.

He told BBC Scotland he had no comment to make on Green's proposal.

I'm going to try and avoid SPL news while the Euros are on and hopefully at the end of it everything is sorted and we can focus on the season ahead.

Exactly !!! However should we get that multi-million arab takeover i'll be on here talking SPL news

Only thing I get excited about pre-season is the fixtures.

How do you rate England's chances ?

80/20 against, the sad news about Defoe hinders us big time against France. Two strikers down before KO.

Paul Hartley overwhelming favourite amongst my Hearts pals. I could quite easily see Hartley or indeed Pressley slipping in comfortably but would Romanov want that ? We know they have previous.

They would be mad to take the job to be honest.

Aye, a greedy sod and also shite.

Scores the odd good goal every 6 months or so and clearly has a bit of talent but rarely bothered his arse to try.

You are getting a good player, when he can be bothered, there.

Scored an absolute screamer against Dundee United last season.

I don't think Hartley is ready to be an SPL manager yet. He only has 1 season of managerial experience behind him and no coaching before that.

As I understand Aberdeen could not pay him £5000 a week he wanted. Not being funny but a lot of people are saying it shows the state of Scottish football when a player would sooner play in league 2 than SPL,

He wanted 5k per week and was told to be sensible. He was offered a good wage and said no so it was withdrawn.

There was no option for him to stay so it's not like he'd rather play somewhere else. When he turned down the contract offer we signed a couple of midfielders for next season and told him he was being released.

No one in their right mind would pay him 5k per week, any club who even considered it is asking for trouble.

You only have to look at David Healy, in talks with Fleetwood Town
