SPL Spokesman on the 11 member clubs at the meeting today regarding the vote:

"They unanimously called for the power to deal with any newco application to be moved from the board to the clubs".
This requires 21 clear days' notice. The clubs will therefore meet again on 30 May to consider a resolution designed to achieve this.
In the event that an application for transfer of share to a newco is received before 30 May, then it can be dealt with by the SPL board.
The SPL board have indicated that they would, in those circumstances, call together the clubs before any such decision was made."

That's what I'm thinking, sit back and wait and see what happens, that way the SPL aren't to blame. Could be a smart move by the SPL.

I think its a joke that the meeting on ffp was adjourned at the request of the administrators. Who is in control here?

It takes them hours to announce a meeting has been adjourned. What do they actually do at these things?

How can they though. We don't know when these decisions are due.

With Cardiff and Blackburn probably staying down and going down. I can see Goodwillie pitching up at Cardiff next stop and probably Kenny Miller being released to get the megabus up if Newco get the transfer ban overturned

Craig Whyte is in talks with Brian Kennedy over selling his 85% shares in Rangers.

have they postponed the vote to stop a dissenting voice in john yorkston being able to vote? surely by 30th May Dunfermline will no longer be counted as an SPL side

He is correct on both counts.

I went 4-3-3 after 60 minutes and risked Xabi Alonso who wasn't completely match fit as a sub for the last half hour.

Some game though, 4 goals in the first 10 minutes and then 3 in the last 10!

Whyte showing the administrators who the real boss is then.

Neil Doncaster has confirmed that Ross County would be the ones voting not the team that goes down.

I used to think Doncaster was a decent CEO of the SPL, but his handling of this situation makes you realise just why Norwich forced him out the door.

Wonder if he likes Fudge?
It's all he speaks.

Time to wave bye, bye to Dunfermline - 3-0 down within 15 minutes.

Cmon, can you really say you are that shocked by something like that??

The GB have said they aren't renewing their season tickets until the NewCo situation is clarified.

No, just completely ironic considering it was Moonbeams who killed Airdrieonians.

Jim Ballantyne said of Livingston's demotion:

"If you ask me if I feel guilty about what has happened to Livingston then the answer is no.

"They have not played within the rules and that is unfair on all the other clubs who have not overspent and have lived within their means.

"I am very happy with the decision of the SFL to uphold the integrity of the league."

Questions will now have to be asked as to whether Mr Ballantyne should be allowed to vote when the NewCo applies for SFA membership.

I know, he's already said the SPL can't survive without Rangers because "who will even be remotely interested in a league where Celtic win the title by 40 points"

At least there is now a proven link between the RFFF and the SFA Board.

It's not just the GB, I know a lot of fans of all clubs who are saying the same thing, even if that means losing out on the early bird offers etc.

I seen on twitter earlier on that Linfield might be handing over as much as £100,000 to Rangers, how much did Rangers fans raise again? Was it not something pitiful like £150,000?

Those who aren't watching the Hibs game make sure you see goal number 4 - one of the worse decisions of the season, not only did it not cross the line, it was at least a yard in front of the line.

I realise that the GB aren't the only folk doing it but they are one of the most powerful Celtic fan groups so for them to come out with that statement is news.

If they, and those that sit around them on the 111 curve, boycott Celtic Park next season it will cost the club ~£750k.

I was surprised it could be as much as £100k but adult tickets were £20!

Off topic. I played with him at millwall school boys.

JB doesn't hold a position within the SFA so I don't know why he would be voting. Could you please enlighten us?
