Apologies first if this has already been discussed elsewhere but I have been trying to avoid The X Factor threads - due to various other things going on I had fallen behind with the show and spent a rather enjoyable weekend watching recordings of the auditions from Sept 25th right up to the point where the final 9 were chosen (Oct 16th).

My question relates to one of the audition shows which featured a very short clip of a three-piece girl group which was put through to the next stage but they then did not feature on the ITV1 boot camp shows (maybe they did on ITV2 but I didn't tape those). One of the girls looked very much like Chloe - the red haired girl who was on Popstars The Rivals and who was booted off fairly early from the final 10, but went onto form "Clea" with three of the other girls who did not get in to Girls Aloud. I know she split from Clea earlier this year, does anyone know if this was indeed her in the audition. Strange they didn't mention her when they did a big piece about Matt from the same Popstars series.

Yes it was Chloe. You pretty much saw everything there was to see. I remember reading that when they auditioned she was told she was the weak link in the trio. We didn't see them again at boot camp.

did anyone feel abit sorry for them? Having gotten so far in popstars. I think however that if you got so far in another show, that lightning never strikes twice
