Here's how this mornings popularity poll went:

1. Steve
2. Tabby
3. Rowetta
4. Cassie
5. G4
6. Voices with soul
7. 2 to go

Last week the bottom two were Verity and 2 to go. So spot on so far...

Interesting.....

(Glad Steve is at the top!)

I'm glad Steve is at the top, by quite a large margin as well. But don't forget it was half term last week so quite a few school kids wouldn't have voted today.

a lot of the voting on the night depends on whether mum/dad will let the kids vote for Tabby I think a lot of mums will be hogging the phone to vote for Steve

.....interesting observation that last week (half-term) G4 topped the poll by a large margin which means that they have the teen vote (who tend to be the most prolific in early Saturday evening voting polls. This Morning`s poll this week was for the best performance on the night and last week`s was for favourite act. Little snippet of info for G4 fans ......Louis intimated that this week`s song will be totally different from Saturday (with the emphasis on totally) so methinks (and hopes) it will have a classical slant to it

I hope you're right, Saturday's Oasis song was a big mistake. Let them sing what they are good at.

....I really, really have high hopes for this week. Louis was praising the lovely Jonathan for speaking out on Saturday night and saying he is a star both on stage and off stage

i have nothing against Steve, but the only reason he is top of this poll is because it's the housewives that vote in i, and they are the ones that Steve appeals to the most. Strangely enough so does Tabby!!

This Morning have a record of being quite accurate on these polls for reality shows. I seem to remember they were spot on virtually every day with I'm a Celebrity. They got X factors results spot on last week as well.

I am a little nervous about Louis again though. Apparently he told Philip the song they will be singing this week but Philip still tried to tell him that G4 should be singing something classical each week. This might mean that Louis is still not sure what G4s style of music should be.
Loved Lorraine Kellys description of Tabby as a Lily Savage lookalike.

I don't think G4 necessarily need to sing classical songs - just something that showcases their arranging abilities, the range of their vocals and the way their voices blend so beautifully together. I thought that their 'performance' of Creep was superb.

They did sing Don't Look Back in Anger very well, it just didn't do them justice.

I have to agree, Why does housewives choice always sound like an insult? I think Will was described the very same, He seems to be doing Ok with all the 'housewives' following him. I thought it was well known that it is 25 to 40 age group that have the most money to spend on cds. (sorry don't know the actual ages!) Why are we dismissed like we have no taste?
