So what's the format for this weeks elimination?

Is it back to normal now just a standard bottom three?
They can't keep doing what they did last week for long

I think/hope it's back to normal - the one with the lowest votes should go. It's not right that someone who could have come like 6th in the overall vote could have been eliminated.

Spot on and imagine if they are still doing this in the top 9 and only 3 of the girls are left they have a bottom 2 girls even though two of the girls for all we know could be 2nd and 3rd in the voting and the third girl as the winner

The problem with 'lowest vote always goes' is what I'll call the 'bottom 3 bounce'. If a singer is in the bottom 3 but not eliminated, she gets a bounce the following week as her fans will vote more to help keep her in, and that can mean a surprising elimination the following week.

i.e. Pia Toscana's shock elimination last year. If she had been in the bottom 3 the previous week there is no way she would have been eliminated like that. (The judges's save had already been used for Casey, another surprise last place).
