Hey all.

Looking to change my phone, i have a galaxy ace.

Want something that will do similar things on Vodafone but candy bar with a normal keypad, nothing stupidly priced either

cheers

When you say a normal keypad, do you mean a physical/hardware keyboard?

Yeah, physical keypad
Something that isn't stupidly slow too ideally

Depends on how thin your fingers are, then this is an option.

Not that kinda thing mate, not too convenient etc,

Seen the Nokia C3-01i, thats sort of taking my fancy but i do want to try one first,
1GHz Processor as opposed to the 800MHz in the Ace, proper Keyboard yet still touch screen to use,

Seems to fit the bill though the touch screen isn't exactly what i was hoping for

Cheers

I was going to suggest the same phone. My brother has one and it seems to be more than capable for a smartphone of it's price-range IMO.

Sounds ideal tbh, i think i may take a trip to my local vodafone store on saturday in that case, hopefully i can test one out,

If you want a physical keyboard and a touchscreen, then what about the BlackBerry Bold 9790? or 9900?

They both have a 1.2GHz processor, 768mb RAM, 8GB Storage. They have a physical keyboard and a touchscreen. Both are certainly more capable than the Nokia C3-01i.

Or if you don't need the touchscreen and are happy with just keys, then a BlackBerry curve? At least give them a try and see what you think.

I've had BB's - Don't want a qwerty mate,
Touch screen I'm not fussed on, and though i was considering the 9900, the cost is a put off, i'll be buying the handset on PAYG to use my contract sim in and so don't wanna spend anywhere near that

Cheers
