I mean, I think this is one of the main reasons DOI has declined majorly, everywhere he is he always attention seeks for no apparent reason, I really despise him.

Wouldn't surprise me if He Under Marked Jorgie for the attention, lets be serious 6.5 is nowhere near what that performance deserved.

I agree, Louie wants the show all about him, everyone was in shock. I am sure if Karen was a judge Jorgie's performance would have been a 9.5+ the perfromance was beautiful, it seems to be their wanting a matthew win tbh.

I like Louie and agree totally with his marks for Jorgie the "pet" tonight. She was dull and boring and only had one prop which was hardly fair.

In what way is Jorgie a "pet"? She gets a really hard time from the judges.

I use to like Louis but not after tonight he was showing off and as for Jorgie it wasn't her fault she was given 1 prop actually a hard prop!

I actually agreed with Louis tonight and actually think that Jorgie has been overmarked most weeks in my opinion.

completely agree. Poor Jorgie, she done fab and didn't deserve to be undermarked. She skated brill and did what she could with her 1 prop whilst everyone else have had numerous props.

I don't think he attention seeks - he gives his opinion based on the performance aspect. I like him and think he really adds to the show.

I think Louie is a great judge! I personally agreed with his score for Jorgie tonight. I dont think she'll go out and I hope she doesnt because she deserves to be in the final but her routine was boring tonight. Hopefully she'll come back better than ever next week! I want her and Matthew in the final

Louie was being honest about what was pretty tedious choreography. It may not please everyone but he knows more about dance than most of us here!
I suspect the blame lies with T and D who I think have lost imagination and flare and that is why this series has lost viewers. DOI has run its course and needs to either find replacements or end after this series.

hmmmmm this was too predictable, i like Matt and hes always amazing but hes not THAT amazing i dont think hes much better than the others, about as good, he gets way overmarked every week

Funnily enough on skating alone Chemmy is prob the best, she just has more boring routines and the others can do all the tricks which makes them look better than they are. Chemmy isnt as good at the tricks so it makes her look the opposite like shes not as good but shes prob better than people give her credit for

He's an idiot. There wasn't a great deal of skating, so I could understand her being marked lower by the skating judges, but the idea that he needed multiple props to be entertained is a joke.

He is supposed to mark the non-skating side of things, which this week included how well she handled the prop, as well as dancing, lines and acting. I did think some of the emotion and lines suffered because she was concentrating on the prop, but not so much that she deserved to be described as lacking emotion or marked down so thoroughly.

His attempts to justify it when he was talking about the others having more props didn't help his case. He gets petty when challenged to explain himself, and gives beside the point excuses.

I agree. If she was ( as some are saying ) under marked tonight, it'll make up for the weeks she was over marked. Horses for courses.

Louie Spence is an expert in his field, which is dance, which is why he is a judge on this show. His opinions are spot on, imho. Jorgie's routine looked boring to me, it might be difficult to twirl a ribbon but if you're doing it as a performance, then perform.

I enjoy Louie being on the show, he adds a bit of fun to it.

Yep, I agree with this, which is why he said it was a bit bland.
And he did say, compared to her normal performances. Which he always marks high doesn't he?
Can't people (fans, performers, etc) take a little constructive criticism? He wasn't being a nasty Jason, he was quite reasonable with it, but said it wasn't good.
Matthew, Chico, Jen, and Sam as I recall, have been criticised before and taken it, worked at it and come out stronger and better. Sometimes criticism is good, it's helpful. And as I said, I think he was trying to be helpful, not Jason-spitful.

He is also unqualified to be in this competition and prefer it if someone else had a crack at it. Come on itv bosses and see sense to get rid of him.

He's not unqualified at all, check out Lorelei Lee's reply to you on this thread about his qualifications - http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1639992

Also, if you get him out, who do you suggest would judge purely (and I mean purely) on the dance and performance?

The panel as it is is good. I think there may be a problem with the show's format, maybe it's time to say goodbye to that, that is T&D doing all the choreography and running the show.

But on this occasion Louie was right. Even Jorgie agreed she may not have put much spark into it. And if you really look at it she didn't do a lot with her supposedly difficult prop.

Yes it's difficult if done right which basically means it should be kept twirling the whole time but a lot of the time she was either just holding it up between her and Matt or it was simply streaming out in a line behind her - Not dangerous and not difficult. She twirled it prettily when safely up in in a lift or when stationary. Even I can twirl a ribbon prettily standing still. So even though I find Louie often irritating I have to agree with him on this one and I do find him an improvement over Jason, Emma, Ruthie etc.

Not sure I could, I'd probably look a real mess - LOL
But, on a plus note, I can twirl bagels to make the hole, which I must do now, as I'm bread making....byeeeee for now
