I mean, I think this is one of the main reasons DOI has declined majorly, everywhere he is he always attention seeks for no apparent reason, I really despise him.

Wouldn't surprise me if He Under Marked Jorgie for the attention, lets be serious 6.5 is nowhere near what that performance deserved.
He gave her 6.5 because that's all it deserved in the opinion of him and quite a few others.

Not sure I could, I'd probably look a real mess - LOL
But, on a plus note, I can twirl bagels to make the hole, which I must do now, as I'm bread making....byeeeee for now
If you can twirl bagels I'm sure you can twirl a ribbon.

I was watching someone twirl a ribbon on ice a few weeks back and they included jumps, spins and hydroglides and neither they nor the ribbon stopped once. And they hadn't had the luxury of practising several hours day for a week with the personal attention of several professionals.

It was a shame Jorgie was so boring with the ribbon as I liked her performances normally even though her actual skating is not great.

Such opinions are mistaken.

There's no way Jorgie's skate was that much worse than the others.

What seems to have happened with such marks is Jorgie losing points for every conceivable reason, including things outside her control such as the number of props, while significant flaws in the other routines are ignored.

A ribbon that long is tricky, and so what if a skater capable of jumps, spins and hydroglides (a better skater than any of the celebs in DOI) could manage it without several hours of recent practice per day?

I have not yet seen ANY good reason for Jorgie's marks being so low compared to the others.

Mistaken in your opinion which I don't think can be taken as fact.

Because she didn't use the prop she was given in any sort of interesting way. She twirled it only when stationary on the ice (and I know how much you dislike stationary dancing so you presumably you hated that?). When she was skating forwward she left it streaming out behind her like she was holding a stick - not interesting. She twirled it a little on a couple of back crossovers - no danger when you are going backwards. She did succeed in throwing it to Matt but he was the one who had to catch it and credit to him for doing so.

So the routine just wasn't interesting and she did not skate it with conviction. The others had to juggle numerous props - get into and out of things on the ice which is hard. i agree Jen had little actual skating but it's not so easy getting on and off things and balancing on them on the ice either and her performance in terms of expression and conveying the emotion and feel of the piece were great (and I don't even like her but enjoyed that performance).

The boys had a lot of interesting things to do - and controlling a whip is harder than twirling a ribbon a bit in lackadaisical fashion and Chemmy did her best performance by a mile with some great technical skating , good use of the props and her personality came across well with her use of them. Of all the performances Jorgie's was the least interesting. I do think it was a mistake by T & D to give her that one prop which made her performance stand out so much from the others and for Louie and for me it was for the wrong reasons.

I loved her skate to 'Wake me up' but during this one I needed something to wake me up and her skating didn't.
