She was only given 1 prop which was the hardest one tonight, she pulled it off great, then Louis uses her to show off. I use to like Louis but after tonight i've now realised that he thinks he's bigger than the show, his marking tonight was noncence he marked Jennifer who was just pulled around the ice higher than Jorgie who actually skated,it may have been boring but she did what T&D wanted her to do!

...gurning in the mirror, in case she's in the skate-off? It seems to have paid off for Matthew!

I heard in the week that she had only been given one, very difficult prop and thought then that she had been totally screwed over. Having seen the performance I think that even more.

I think it was intended to make her look flawless so that the others would seem sloppy due to them having more props to work with, and instead it backfired hugely. I don't care who says it was a difficult prop, it was a sodding ribbon! I hope Jorgie goes out tonight, now that would be an interesting outcome!

I just think the judges are hypocrites.

Louis is a "performance" judge..he looks at the dancing-style elements. So if he thinks not enough is going on in Jorgies, fine, but hes got to actually look at problems in other peoples performances too.

E.g. Chemmy is a brilliant skater, but she has no grace or poise on the ice.
Chico was quite slow tonight, and skated quite a bit without his prop
Jen was being dragged around on different props throughout, and probably skated on her own for about 5 seconds..

Very unfair. She did was she was asked to do beautifully and I thought it was a lovely routine but it wasn't a circus routine.

You can't compare that with the other four!

Ok, how can you justify most of Jens routine her being dragged around on a variation of props?

Thats not hard, all she had to do was lie down!

Nah, that's Matthew! Each to their own though but I'm fed up of Jorgie and would be happy to see the back of her.

I think Jane and Chris thought we would all look at this routine and go 'ooohhh that was beautiful and such a hard prop to dance with' - whereas I thought it was boring compared to the other routines and their multiple props.

So Jorgie and Matt can't take responsibility for something out of their control.

Chris was suitably annoyed by the marks though - he doesn't normally show much emotion at them.

I will be surprised if Louis is back next series because Chris looked mad at him.

Can someone explain to me why he marked Jen higher than Jorgie because Jen didn't do any skating.

I don't think she will be going anywhere if the "app-players" are voting.

I think what Louie marked though, is that Chemmy & Chico showed a lot of character in their performances, they told a story and really sold it to the audience. I actually think that Chemmy has got quite graceful on the ice now as well, but even if she wasn't, her skating was great, she used props well, and did an entertaining and funny routine.

Dont you understand...being dragged around on multiple props obviously offered way more of a performance!

He was annoyed I expect because the marks were a bad reflection on his choreography.

Yes it was, just it was more 'Cirque du Soleil' than 'Big Top'.

I think Chris was mad because he knows that it was his not so great routine he gave to Jorgie and Matt that gave them low scores.

IMO I think they all did well tonight but for me Jorgies was very dull compared to what we have seen from her. As for the ribbon I guess many of you didnt play with things like this as a child well I did and its not that hard just to twirl it around in the air. Now if she had tried to twirl it around her and Matt body or send it under her legs or change it from hand to hand then it would have been a diffrent matter.
I agree ... i think Louie's mark was too low (8 would have been a more realistic score) but I wasn't wowed by the performance at all .... she had the advantage of having a more fluid routine as she didn't have the bittyness/complexity of swapping over props and apart from the bit where she threw the ribbon I didn't see any great difficulty ..a lot of the time the momentum of skating across the ice caused the ribbon to flow naturally ... there wasn't a lot of actual technical skating in Jorgie's routine and for me Chemmy, Chico and Matthew had a lot more actual skating skills in their performance

I thought that Jen's routine was the worst of the night as it contained hardly any actual skating by her (which is a shame as she showed last week that she's capable of it) so whilst it was well acted I felt that she should be below Jorgie in the scores

All in all I think that T&D have to take responsibility for some of the scores tonight due to the allocation of the props and their choreography

I have never twirled a ribbon in my life but I know it isn't as easy as you imply. Didn't the British rhythmic gymnastics team fail to qualify for our own Olympics recently because they couldn't get a ribbon to unfurl at the right time?
