I haven't used a ribbon whilst skating myself but I have all 6 NSA figure skating proficiency badges and the NSA grade 7 free skating badge (out of the 9 available at the time) from when I skated as a child (the grading system has been replaced these days with a differenrt system but it means that I have got skating qualifications so have some idea what I'm talking about

) .............. so I know how much momentum plays in keeping the ribbon going and like a previous poster has said I've played with some sort of version of a ribbon on a stick as a child so know that once you spin it from your wrist it's not that difficult to make the wave or circular movements
Whilst Chemmy and Chico may have just carried their props they actually did a fair bit of technical skating .. Chico did two free jumps, Matt also did a fair bit of technical skating too ......Jorgie did very little technical skating tonight ... and Jen did absolutely nothing (I think Jen should have been below Jorgie on the scoreboard)
