Matt, Chico and Chemmy were the best. They all did more advanced skating than Jorgie and Jennifer.

If you look at what Jorgie does when she is skating herself it is VERY basic. She skated in a straight line, taking a corner when needed throughout the whole routine! She skated backwards for about 2 seconds, then Matt joined her and picked up her speed. Her use of the prop wasn't great either (i know it is Jayne and Chris choreography) but come on, she could of put the ribbon under her legs, swapped hands at least. People saying "it was very hard not to trip over the ribbon" - No, it wasn't. Every time she was skating on her own she had the ribbon lifted WAY above her head, and because she was moving it wasn't going to go anywhere near her feet. If she had spun the ribbon round her body whilst skating by herself, then yes, she could of tripped over it. Im still shocked at how minimal and weak her skating looked!

Now, Jennifer. She may not have skated on her own quite as much as Jorgie, but if you look at what she was doing it WAS more complex skating, her forward/backward crossovers were good, and compared to Jorgie, Jennifer did a lot MORE crossovers. Jorgie seemed to skate in a line, and did mabye two crossover throughout that routine. Jennifer's performance was good she put the comedy into it, which suited her routine. Whilst Jorgie, seemed....bland to be honest, which is odd for Jorgie. Overall, Jennifer WAS better TECHNICALLY than Jorgie, and i know DS is a big fan of Jorgie, but you cannot deny that Jennifer, whom may not have skated AS much as her, did skate more complex skills than Jorgie, and put on a better performance.

Yes Jorgie looked elegant, but so would anyone skating in a line, and getting lifted up twirling a ribbon (Which frankly, i did as a kid, and it isn't really hard).

Oh and btw, i am a HUUUUGEEE fan of Jorgie and have voted six times tonight because i feel she is so much more capable than what she did tonight! I just hope that she makes it through! Seriously though, nobody can deny her skating was VERY minimal!

-EDIT- I also think that Robin really did give a 5.5 but then saw Katrina's score and thought "Shit..."! Because when the scores came up, Robin was nodding his head, looked at Katrina and then said about changing his!

I agree with absolutely everything you've said in your analysis of the performances and can't really add to them. I feel that, maybe Chris Dean thought that if they kept saying Jorgie's prop was difficult, people would believe it and say that her performance was wonderful - but it clearly wasn't. I'm not a Jorgie fan but you my utmost respect for being honest and admitting that was a poor performance, I wish more of her fans were as realistic as you are.

The problem is that because she's had interesting routines up to now, everyone has overlooked the fact that she hasn't done much skating on her own. Tonight, with a prop it really showed up. Not that it will make any difference her being at the bottom of the leader board, the lemmings will vote for her just the same, totally ignoring the people who are better than she is.

It always happens on these programmes and always will. If she wasn't in a soap, no-one would be interested in her.

Me too, would have given her slightly higher maybe but she was boring and little content, almost zero entertainment for me and yes I do really like her.

I thought tonight's judges voting was very fair - and congrats to them for not taking the easy way out and scoring Jorgie high because it was expected. Odd that Robin got his vote amended - was it really a mistake.

Let's face it Matt and Dan have been doing this longer than any of the pros - they are brilliant at making their celeb partners look better than they perhaps are!

I also agree with this.

I thought Matt actually saved that routine, he showed some emotion and captured the simple innocence of the routine, whereas Jorgie (IMO) was quite simply boring and hardly did anything of interest.

I've rewatched Jen's performance and I still can't see any of the crossovers/complex skills you claim she did. All Jen seemed to do in her routine was skate clumsily in a straight line from one prop to another while hanging on to Dan and then being dragged around on the prop.

Jorgie's routine wasn't great but at least she skated more than Jen did.

What were you watching? It just showed clips of their performances and showed Jen's skating!

Jorgie didnt even manage a whole rotation spin! She had to keep putting her other foot down! Which, is crap! Especially at this stage!

I would hardly call the skating Jennifer did clumsy and even so did you consider that she was in a clown character and therefore could have been acting up that part even within the skating itself.

Personally I think while there wasn't as much skating in Jennifers routine what was there was good and fitted in with the overally theme of her routine.

At least Jennifer managed to get some expression into her performance.

When exactly (mins:secs) in this clip does Jen do the "crossovers" and "complex skills" you claim she did?

Jen barely skated at all during her routine tonight ... she moved from one prop to another and was swooshed under Daniel's legs once and lifted once ........ the only technical thing she did was 2 t-stops and that's basic skating that you learn in your first lesson

She proved she could skate a lot better last week but showed no skating skills at all tonight

Yes and whose fault is that Jennifer did not choreograph her routine did she. Everyones up in arms because Jorgies routine is being slated well its not Jennifers fault that she didn't get to skate that much.

Although posters here don't need much excuse to have a go at her it seems and there was other bits of skating not just a couple of stops and a bit of swooshing and a lift.

I didn't say it was her fault ... we all know that she obviously wasn't given the choreograhy for some reason, there's no need to get so defensive ....lol

Jennifer proved last week that she's capable of doing more technical skating which makes it all the more noticeable that she got none this week

I've just watched the show again on catchup and there was absolutely no technical skating at all involved in her routine .. just straight forward forwards skating and gliding from one prop to another

I will admit that when the scores were first given I, like many people, was furious with jorgie’s marks as i felt her performance was so magical and engaging. However watching back I definitely agree with what they judges were saying in terms of content. Yet, i still do not agree with Louis’ mark or Jorgie’s overall placing on the leader board, she should have finished above jen i think.

ANYWAY, for all those jorgie fans out there, don’t listen to what all the negative people are saying, remember suzanne shaw’s props week? That didn’t exactly go swimmingly and saw her fall far down the leader board for the very first time and she fared pretty well in the final!

Reading your posts and other threads, I don't believe you're a genuine Jorgie fan as you claim.

You sound more like a die-hard Jen fan determined to undermine Jorgie by pretending to be her fan.

Jennifer fans do not need to pretend to be someone else just to state an opposing opinion of Jorgies peformance. I did not like Jorgies peformance I thought it was mind numbing and there was a lot more that could have been done with it and she was totally expressionless throughtout. Also was unimpressed with Matts reaction afterwards especially the shots shown of him sulking like a spolit child when Matthew was getting his scores

See I can say that without pretending to be a Jorgie fan so I hardly think people are going around pretending to be a fan just to have a snide go. Other Jorgie fans on here not many I admit have also said her performance was not as good does that mean they are pretending too and are really fans of someone else

IMO last night there was no effort put into her performance and she was simply going through the motions of it.
