In response to the first bit which was done in relation to Jorgie I think you are aware Jorgie also had ballet training so she should be able to perform as well as Jennifer but she doesn't appear to.

In response to the Robin stuff I don't think Robin helped matters because he admitted that he was favouring Chemmy which may not have gone down so well with the public. Fair enough I know he saved Chico when it came down to it but think it was bad to say yes I am favouring Chemmy there may have been people put off voting because of that and it then may have looked bad if Robin then saved Chemmy in the skate off. Probably way off base with that thought but it is just a thought.

Although I didn't rate Chemmy that highly myself I have to admit that Robin and Katerina probably know more about skating than I do, so if they say she was good she must have been! Her performance skills I thought were very good, especially as she's not form a showbiz background - I enjoyed last night's routine. But she wasn't as good as Chico, and he doesn't have an olympic sports background! So he deserved to stay.

spot on

Her skating ability is probably the best of all of them, even Jorgie and Matthew but Jorgie and Matthew and some of the others are much better at the tricks like the lifts etc

I'm often surprised on SCD and DOI by how few of the celebrities bother to thank their professional partner on air. I usually put it down to emotional strain and having to come up with something to say in the few seconds you get - but in this case I do wonder whether there wasn't the best relationship ever between Chemmy and Sean

But anyone saying Chemmy was bad - well, I don't know what you were watching last night, but I reckon her routine had just about the greatest combination of prop usage and technical content, and she pulled it off with more style than we've seen in any of her previous skates. Good for her going out on a cracking performance. Let the haters hate

I really liked Chemmy, sadly knew she would go out last night, I see why people would not take to her, but I thought she was good.

Ditto. I liked Chemmy though can see why she might rub people up the wrong way. To me though she was a breathe of fresh air and something different.

I thought the end speech was rather rushed as well, that they were running out of time so maybe in the moment she didn't get chance to thank Sean publically. I agree it is a nice thing to do. Maybe she will make up for it when she is interviewed on TM

I love how a thread about Chemmy has changed to a thread about Jorgie - once again lol.

Adding my bit, Chemmy was awesome. I think she was the best technically of the three girls.

I can only presume you do not Ski. Having inadvertantly ski-ed the womens downhill course in Sarajevo, I'm well aware that, other than being supremely fit, there is little if anything to help you in Ice skating.

Chemmy is a beautiful young woman, and true to her friends, wish people would stop putting her down because they do not like her.

Only started watching 2 weeks ago as it totally bores me up till the last couple of weeks. It was obvious Chemmy was not liked by the public 4 weeks in bottom two. I liked her more than Jorgie, but Jorgie has the GBP majority vote.

I think that the judges liked her courage in the fact that she used the programme as therapy and a sort of rehabilitation to strengthen her mind her legs and her fears after her skiing accident.which is fair enough, but to my mind chemmy was an awkward looking skater, and should have gone weeks ago.

Wasnt a fan of Chemmys BUT her routine last night was the first Id actually found ok to watch and that wasnt totally boring like all her other routines have been.

Personally, I liked Chemmy - especially the way she cared about Sebastian when they did the Ultimate Skills Challenge, shouting out the moves to try and help him, and hugging him afterwards. She struck me as a team player, and a nice lady.
That said she often looked wooden, no doubt because she has no dance/acting experience, and she rarely pointed her feet, even if she had a lot of power and stability, and probably was in fact quite a good skater (according to Robin & Katerina and I trust their judgement).

All that said, I think she skated well on Sunday night, and she acted the part and it was the first really good "all round" performance. She came into her own. I think it was time for her to go, because the standard is remarkably high all round, but I also think she should be extremely proud of that last performance.

She not only supported Seb but also Corey in the VT before they competed against each other in the head to head.

Ironically last night was Chemmy's best performance by a mile.

I really like Chemmy right from the start, even though her skating wasn't great at first. But she seemed to improve each week; she took on board what the judges said and worked to iron out the flaws. Her biggest downfall? She came across as a confident contestant - not confident about her skating, but as a confident human being. As an Olympic athlete it is in her nature to be competitive, so let's face it, she was doomed from the start.

Unfortunately, a large proportion of the GBP just cannot seem to stand anyone who is confident and competitive.

I found her very refreshing, too, and I likesd the way she used her leaving speech to give hope to others who had suffered injury, not just to focus on the microcosm of DOI.

I also noticed how her final skate round was, in fact, a round of hugs with the other contestants and the judges.

What a lovely girl.

I agree 100% and I would far rather watch Chemmy than Jorgie or Jen, who seem to share a collective brain cell and can barely put together a coherent sentence. Yes I know that's a bit bitter, but I certainly think the wrong skater went out last night.

A bit bitter I would say that is downright insulting you are suggesting that someone who is a sportperson has more intelligence than an actor dancer etc that I find highly offensive. I don't like Jorgie but i find that offensive towards both her and Jennfier.

Jennifer in addition to her acting etc runs a fame academy stage school type of thing which I would think takes some degree of intelligence and Jennifer certainly puts together coherent sentences. Jorgie I admit I do struggle to understand a bit as she does go a bit breathless and strange when being spoken to but I would not use that to accuse her of not being intelligent.

I find it sad that people have to resort to petty insults just because their favourite has left the competition.

I echo most of this; Chemmy surprised me in the first week by being much better than I expected, but she's improved virtually every week IMO. I know what you mean about her confidence; I like seeing people who are so positive about themselves, but a lot of people seem to prefer emotional wrecks who keep saying they're crap and can't do it every 5 minutes! Bizarre.

I love Chemmy too but that was rather harsh. Fans definding their favourites by slagging off others is something I really dislike on this forum and elsewhere... I like all of the top 5 to some degree, Jen is bottom of the pile but I'll admit she has her strengths, I don't think Chemmy herself would like it either as she's always seemed very supportive of the other skaters.

Chemmy tweeted this morning saying she didn't have enough time to thank everyone last noght including Sean. She came across well I thought on This Morning too.
