I think it's a bit of both ... Dan will always get people for voting for him no matter who his partner is ..... the same with Matt .. they seem to be the 2 pro's with the biggest fanbases themselves

althought Kerry got a lot further in the competition than she should have based on skating so it could have been that Dan's fanbase was keeping them in
I think its because with Dan, they always pair him with people he builds really lovely relationships with, inclusive of Jen.
In the past hes had Kerry, Linda, Hayley, Emily, Roxanne, Gaynor, he had really nice partnerships with all of them which produce nice routines. Somewhat mediocre, but nice to watch.

I think you underestimate Jennifers fanbase she won Hell's Kitchen didn't she and I don't think she had Dan on that show with her did she? she managed to get the votes for that all by herself.
Yes people will vote for Dan but as many will be voting for Jennifer because they are fans of her.
You then have to apply the same arguement to Matt and Jorgie then as how many are voting for Matt as he is another popular pro and how many are actually voting for Jorgie herself?

She was lovely on HK and was a deserving winner. Personality wise I think she's smashing but, as this is a skating competition I wouldn't vote for her.

Thats not my point I understand your point of view but the OP believes that people are only voting because she has Dan my point is that Jennifer has her own pre-existing fanbase and she has over 79,000 followers on twitter Dan has just over 29,000 which suggests she has the larger fanbase. I think Jennifer is more than capable of generating votes in her own right. Yes there will be a large % of the votes coming from Dan fans but what people don't seem to accept that Jennifer is a nice enough person and enough of a celeb to generate a lot of votes in her own right and people obviously like her enough to vote and she is genuinely grateful and surprised that enough people like her to vote her through each week.
I get mad at this on this forum because it is only Dan that gets picked on with regards to this when the exact same thing happens with Matt and you can't argue that it doesn't as was proven when he partnered Heather Mills who was apparently the most hated woman in the UK yet she managed to get fairly far in the show so who was voting for her? I would guess the people that wanted to keep Matt in the show.
I think Jen is a lovely person and always comes across very well. It would not surprise me if she is not topping the public vote each week. Having said that I want Chico to win - He is just living the dream and loving every second of it.
I've never been a believer in the 'pro vote', either here or on SCD, but here especially, where there isn't the It Takes Two type of exposure, relatively subdued tabloid interest and no pro involvement in the choreography.

LOLOL
I find this soooo funny, Jen may not be the best skater on there but it you looking for ZZZZZZZ skating its Jorgie all the way.

She should not have gone weeks ago there were weaker than her in the competition and her scores continued to improve week to week and the previous two weeks showed a huge improvement in her skating and performance she had every right to still be in the show and just because you don't like her and she is maybe the weakest now does not mean she should have gone weeks ago.

last week was the only week to me where she's shown any real skating ability so it's frustrating that she got a routine this week with no skating to speak of
personally on skating skills I think that she should have gone before Seb, Sam and Chemmy
