Could Chico Win?

It surprises me that he does not get the public support like the other 3 left. He is the one person that really looks like he is loving every second of the competition and the one person I look forward to watching every week. I also love his positive outlook on everything and the way he thanks the voters and the judges.

Come on everyone - Vote Chico...

I am very surprised that he does not seem to get the public support, I really enjoy watching him proform and wouldnt mind either him or Matt winning.

If he'd only had one skate off I'd think he'd be in with a chance. Now he's had two, I'm not so sure - I think even if he gets to the final he'll come third

He's my favourite this year so I'd be like this to see him lift the trophy or even to get to do Bolero

Its strange because the studio audience all seem to chant for him. I am guessing its because the others are more well known and probably have a bigger established fan base. I just hope that with him getting more air time in the skate off's he might pick up more supporters.

out of those left Chico's my favourite too but unfortunately I don't think he'll win having been in two skate-off's he's obviously not getting the public vote .... the other three I would imagine have a decent enough fan base plus with Matt and Dan you have the two pro's who potentially will bring in their own fanbase votes too

Yeah I sadly agree - But hey at least he is still there to fight another week. Just hoping he does something amazing and tops the leader board - Perhaps then he will pick up some late support.

I don't think he stands a chance after being in the bottom two (twice?).

Anyone that is going to vote for him in future, should just send their votes Jenn's way.

You never know with these shows. He is still there and is capable of winning the judges vote next week. If that happens people may notice him. He could also get a bounce back vote after being in the skate off. We have no idea how close the votes might be.

Both weeks he's been in the SO there have been events causing unnatural voting patterns - first time to save Chemmy over Andy and this week Jorgie's position in the score board.

Look at the thread tonight - all the talk was about Jorgie - nothing about Chemmy or Chico - Jennifer had the pimp spot and Matthew just before her.

Chemmy and Chico were in the dangerous spots - first 2 on, mid table and no controversy.

Now that there are fewer skaters positions on the leaderboard mean less.

Hopefully he'll get some decent choreography now he's over this virus thing.

Unfortunately Chico is not in a soap

I don't know why Chico isn't getting the public support.

Hes a lovely guy, hes funny, he doesn't take himself too seriously, hes a great skater, a great performer..whats not to like!?

I agree with you, I still think it is because he isn't a soap actor!

He's very OTT, and that sort of behaviour doesn't often fare well with the public over people who mostly speak in bland platitudes like Matt, or who talk about their kids and cry discretely like Jennifer, or who play the ditzy blonde, like Jorgie. Chico bombs around nattering in Americanisms and "PMA"s, dedicating his routine to sick kids, and dropping to his knees when he's saved. He's a total drama-queen, as he was on X Factor, and that sort of odd behaviour very rarely gets you the win or a significant public vote on these sorts of shows.

Nope looking more like a Matt & Jorgie final 2.

Jayne and Chris screwed him over this week with the props- A soap final - couldn't think of anything more boring

T and D really need to look at what they are giving the celebs- because Chico is more capable than they think

I really hoped Chico would make the final 3 but I think Jennifer will snatch the third place. Chico's been in the bottom 2 several times and it seems like he's just not getting the votes he needs. Soap stars and ex soap stars tend to do well in DOI.

If Matt doesnt win the only other person I would be happy to see win would be Chico

Chico is my fav and I would love him to win, but being realistic, I know in my heart he won't....But If he is out before Jen and the voting is still open, I shall throw votes Jen's way. How's that? lol

He would have to win over the public vote first before he has any chance.
