It's a poor song with a lack of hooks and a stupid title.

Her appearance on X Factor, which the vast majority of people will have long forgotten, has had no impact on Elephant's sales. Rather, people just realise it's an incredibly mediocre song.

The song is OK, but the hook is in the instrumental - which has already been similarly seen in Glad You Came.

OK.com was the highlight of Xfactor this year. It was the only real "Suhhhnappp" moment.

Hate to interrupt the serious debating but I was just reading her Wikipedia and couldn't help but laugh at..

.."As of December 2011, Burke has sold over 4 million records in the UK with combined sales of her singles and her album Overcome. Her second album, Okay Dot Com!, is due for release in 2012 and has produced the single "Elephant"."
LMAO!

I see. You made it sound like the official chart or something. The next chart is a week off.

I love the song. Why all the hate? Radio 1 and Capital snubbed it yet it still got to #3 in itunes chart? I'd say that's quite an achievement! Stooshe were supported by both and only peaked at #5.
