I need to connect a DVD player to a Sony 32EX403 TV. Does it matter whether I use a SCART to AV1 or AV2?
The online manual has a small diagram , with the following symbols:
A round-cornered square, with a double-headed arrow, one head pointing in and one out.
/
A round-cornered square with an arrow outside pointing in. Inside shows three dots.
AV1, AV2
Then in the main column it says :
The original is available at :

This suggests to me that I can use either for a DVD player, but that a DVD recorder would need to be at AV1.
Is that correct?
