honestly I feel he'd be more at home on SCD then DOI

So do I and in fairness I wish I hadn't have created this thread to be fair. Safe to say i am more scd than doi and can't wait for the new series in the autumn.

I also posted on Facebook that I wasn't happy about him and his mark. To a degree I agree with the other posters that maybe the routine didn't suit jeorgie like the other routines and I apologise to you kathyspark as well.

A bit late to this party, so to speak, but I'm afraid I disagree with the OP's views too - and I speak as one of those who was dreading Louie's arrival, having only caught unintended glimpses of him on things like Harry Hill's TV Burp! But he's won me over on DOI and I hope he stays. He's disproved the 'all gay men must be bitchy' myth by being constructive in his criticism, but always ALWAYS positive in what he says too, and NEVER abusive or insulting as a certain person always was. Louie has proved you don't need a 'bad guy/panto villain' type on these kind of shows.

As for the Asperger's, I work with students with Asperger's, and as I'm sure you (Tall Pall) are well aware one of things that people with Asperger's find very hard is reading facial expressions and emotions correctly, so maybe that is why you genuinely interpreted Jayne and Chris's slight disagreement with Louie last night as 'disgust'. You shouldn't be shot down in flames for that, but despite their disagreeing with him I think most of us on here could see that 'disgust' was the furthest emotion from Jayne and Chris's minds. Frustration, maybe, and a bit of irritation and 'anger in the moment', but absolutely no disgust.

At the end of the day you are entitled to your opinion, but try not to confuse your opinion with facts - facts can be backed up by data, surveys, empirical evidence, but opinions (no matter how many like-minded people on twitter agree with you) are just that. It does seem that most people on this thread don't agree with your sentiments about Louie... but that's only our opinion!

I am quite set in my ways, yes. Not too bad on facial expressions, but do struggle with my every day to day life. Suppose I can't manipulate people like I do sometimes despite me being quite a conscientious person most of the time.

On the SCD threads I did a lot of moaning about Len Goodman the head judge of that show and wanted him to be removed. Actually now I think he is needed on that particular show as he has the most expertise.

The elements of dancing on ice I look at are the more technical side and that is why I support Robin Cousins a lot of the time. It will be up to the producers and head of entertainment of ITV with whether he remains in his seat or not.

Only time will tell.

Jorgie's dances have been beautiful so far, and I think she does deserve to be in the final, but I have to agree with Louie on this one. I was very disappointed when I watched it, and would have probably given it a 7.

I've also been very pleasantly surprised by Louie as a judge - I'll be very disappointed if he and Katarina aren't back next year.

You have to admit the positions of the judges are not safe either, well not to my mind anyway.

I think this has been the best ice panel yet, and I really hope they'll be back next year, so I think we'll just have to agree to disagree!

There's no bitterness, Jorgie is still in there.

I love Louie but I think he was wrong last night. I'm not sure he realises how difficult the ribbon is to handle. I think Torvil and Dean failed to make that point clear.
