Who in their right mind thinks they have good music?
One direction
I don't mind them for what they are as at the end of the day they're not exactly trying to reach out to an older audience if they last that'll happen naturally.
However i watched their three performances on The Today Show their US premiere and they were dreadful, absoluetly cringeworthy, excrutiatingly bad and all you could see was girls screaming despite the fact they were dreadful and no personality during their interview which just made it worse. For all The Wanted's cockiness and arrogance they at least have some presence even if it is negative personality traits.
Considering the standard of singing in the US or even just boy bands they were awful, like them or not at least Backstreet Boys,NSYNC,Take That can sing live. The other thing is perhaps because they don't do the boyband dancing thing it actually exposes their lack of performance skills all five of them wandered around not knowing what to do. I also think they are really immature yes i'll admit at that age i was too but not the level they act or perhaps that's to appeal to the kids i don't know.

Wouldn't make sense as The wanted happen to have the same manager as bieber, the manager will be wanting too boost the wanteds popularity... Not hand them bieber as a gift.

I think the collaboration will happen. This is what Bieber's manager Scooter said on twitter:
A fan asked Braun: "Do you think Justin could ever possibly collab with One Direction?"
He replied: "Very possible. He likes them and thinks they are good dudes. All people of that generation should be there to help each other."

The TV show they were on today were apparently calling them the next Beatles Tabloids are running along calling it them aswell... They'll be lucky to be as big as the Backstreet boys, nevermind a band that sold over 1.5 billion records.

They're very trendy and current and young and have testicles many would like to gargle with.
Also, the hook on that damned song of theirs is tremendous. Second only to "Rah rah ah ah ah" in recent memory for me randomly singing it for no reason. "Oh - ah - oh - that's what makes you beautifuuuulll" grr.
