Read your post. Where do you say Giff Gaff worked perfectly and had good coverage?

I'd say a lot of the good reviews for Giff Gaff you need to take with a pinch of salt - people get money off their bills with the whole referral scheme and collecting points each time they help someone etc, so it's hard to know if it's someone's genuine opinion or if they are just getting pound size in their eyes.

Saying that I've known people who have had no issues at all, but as you physically can't phone someone to get an issue sorted it does make problem solving rather difficult.”

I'll give you a genuine review. I use gg because it costs me nothing....Coverage in my area and the area's I travel to have good coverage.
I've lost data connection on 2 occasions due to gg outage.
Apart from that I've had no problems.
My business phone has been with Vodafone and rife with coverage and other problems. I'll be changing that soon (undecided where to at this stage).
Like all experiences with ANY network, it will depend on where you are for coverage. I wouldn't take anyone's word for it on a forum. Best bet is to either talk to people who are in the same area you are or get a free PAYG sim and try them all out before committing......

It's 3.5GB now.
