this and above post done in Starbucks. search wi fi networks. connect Starbucks. browser javascript on, sign in, then java back off & then up to 2 hours wi fi.
to sign out - not really needed - java on, connect to bt openzone, log out of starbucks.
switching off javascript not really necessary. default is on. but most webpages load faster if off. I use it just when needed. eg using my email account etc .....
oh, and you can also disable web images so you only download text data. which might be useful with a slow connection .........
..... amazon do like you to use wi fi occasionally and not 3g all the time. after a while they will probably send an email reminding u wi fi is how they send software updates. but they wont cut u off. however, continuing free 3g does depend on amazon being able to fund it.
