"Maybe he is right"

...said Jorgie, after Louie's marks, signifying that she perhaps was not all that happy with her routine, having to concentrate on keeping the ribbon afloat, hence not being able to do much else. Maybe she was herself lamenting the lack of other content in her routine, such as skating or performance. Seems like she could actually take criticism.

Maybe she knows that the public turn against skaters who insist they deserve better marks?

No, she was just trying to be humble because:

Humble = Votes
Confident (this mainly applies to girls only) = No Votes

I agree .. you could tell by both of their faces that both Matt and Jorgie were expecting great marks for their routine .. they'd probably been led to believe that this would be a 10's across the board routine if they nailed it

It is the fashion on this board to take odd comments or perceived body language of contestants and read all kind of motives into them,so here's my two-penneth:

I suspect that Jorgie felt rather uncomfortable with the atmosphere of controversy and made that remark in the hope that everyone would just accept the scores and move on.

This is pretty much my line of thinking, she looked a bit upset and uncomfortable with it all.

I suspect your two-penneth is spot on.

There's too much questioning of the judges marks, by the contestants, Karen and also the presenters. Not to mention them taking to Twitter for support and telling the contestants that people on Twitter or the Ap would have gven them more. The judges marks should be final, no ifs or buts, just shut up and accept them.

Exactly. Plus Louis was right - it was a boring routine.

Georgie did accept them, and secured her stay for the next week. I notice those who protest, go shortly after.

Although it didn't seem to do Andy any harm. I thought the way he answered back in such a rude manner to Katarina in particular was awful.

I went off him for being so rude. He lost any chance of winning from that moment. He has a big fan base, only reason he stayed. Evan his fans gave up in the end. The rudeness did lose him, his place in the competition. The rudeness to Katarina was awful
