But what I will say is I hope them and Simon don't get complacent with their next album and just assume they will top the charts again. I hope this is NOT their peak, they need to prove themselves more performance wise I'll admit that. (Liam has been very consistent, Zayn has improved dramatically, Harry is unpredictable (the nerves get the better of him sometimes))
Their instant success is a combination of songs, looks, excellent social media promotion/interaction, personality and branding. And of course Mr Cowell!

<3 ya post! And the point is that there are millions of real artist/musician/performers/singers that are billion times more talented then them but are still struggling to even make a living and yet these indescribable living objects gets such success with such crap materials.
I also dont agree with people saying about their looks. There are far too many boy bands with looks far superior to theirs and i dont see their success. I personally dont find any of them attractive or extremely pleasing to look at except maybe one of them. I believe that it is just the right time and opportunity and there is a slot for them in the current market.

On XF, it was all to do with their looks. Their performances didn't deserve the craze. Vocally they weren't there at all. And at the time, neither were JLS. The only good male bands on XF were The Risk (post reformation at Judges houses).
oh dear, a lot of negative opinions and i suppose some people have a point. however, its really not worth getting worked up over, like someone else said they are just a boy-band. obviously, they are going to go down well with teenage girls and the music is pretty catchy too. where`s the harm in all honesty?
i wish people wouldn't post their opinions as if their are facts though. its getting tiresome to read armchair vocal critiques, when its entirely subjective. maybe people regard `g4` the best ever male vocal group in x factor`s history, but it all opinion based on taste.

They have fans worldwide (due to Youtube/Twitter), and have charted in various countries outside the UK.
And What Makes You Beautiful was their first single release (debuted at #28 with NO promo) and the album was released yesterday in the US.
