when are Easter holidays? we only get a couple of days off in Canada, but it's a couple of weeks here, right?

I have the same thinking chosen! I'm quite anxious to get a date because I'm worried about it clashing with something. April 12th is a defo no-no for me.

She did say it was unlikely to be too far in the future as they prefer to take advantage of gaps in the diary for these type of things rather than book a long way out and find that week is later taken for something else and cause a cancellation.

I did cheekily suggest 29 March but she said he won't do it if he's singing that day. So I asked her to avoid the easter hols partly cos I'm away - (have I mentioned I'm going to see Springsteen in NYC LOL) but also cos I assume it's harder for those with kids to go away when they are off (certainly is for me). She also said it wouldn't be a weekend.

She said she hoped to get a response tomorrow and then we can set things up.

I will DM dates as soon as I have them hopefully we will have at least 2 to pick from”

I can understand this - time gets eaten away very quickly. I guess we've just got to wait and see what they come back and suggest. Pretty much any date is going to be awkward for one or other of us - I just want to know so I can get on and make my arrangements.

It's just that one date in April I can't do really, I have to do a First Aid course that day and if I have to miss this for that I will actually want to jump off a bridge.

That's not sad beyond belief, I watched that video with the knickers loads of times simply cos I love the way he does stuff with his hands. The way he picks them up and hangs them on his guitar, it's the same way he did up his lifejacket and meddled with his songs on Xtra Factor

Goodness me, I hope no one he knows lurks on here.

Thanks for the update Wkd - after Easter suits me and it sounds as though it's unlikely to be as late as June so that's OK too. I cannot rearrange my holiday!

Humbug. Your question, if it's the spot I'm thinking off, just before the chair is brought on for the acoustic set - yes, he goes off stage to change to his acoustic guitar n get this plugged in (I could see this from my ariel view at Birmingham), poss take a mo to compose, take a drink of water etc

Friendly waves to returning posters calling by for a quick natter n also that nice reporter chap, your review was indeed very honest I have to say - hope you do get your pass to hammer smith, gonna be rather special n I'm sure many if the peeps will say hello, infact it's going to be rather fun meeting up with folks tho we are actually sat all over the place at the gig! Got my train n hotel all booked, kids n animals sorted for both London and Manchester (still planning on arriving for pre gig meet up, my colleagues leaving work early on the day on question etc)

I really do hope we get a live cd/DVD to tide us all over n keep Matt in the public eye whilst working on album 2, which already seems well underway by all accounts - be almost a crime to leave these live perf in snippet view on utube, they are too good for that I feel, we need a proper recording :0)”

LOL Pie you got here eventually though that's what matters.LOL Did you make sure that the door in Tour Tavern was closed.

Has your tour been inspirational in writing your songs?

“Yeah definitely, we have had moments were we just jam on stage but we have only just started the tour so there will be plenty of opportunities to write on the road.”

Total squeeeeeeeeeeeee at the update Wkd
There are NO dates I can't/won't move in order to be there (short of medical emergency). I had a little hope for 30th March just 'cos that would minimise expense on train fares due to being in London already on 29th for something or other, can't remember what though

*blushes and looks a bit guilty*

Guys......I've done something.........I hope you don't mind..........but I saw a tweet saying there was a seat at Hammersmith Row B Centre stalls, and I was just feeling gutted about missing the front row at Swindon, so I've bought it. I tried to find out if there were any pairs going, and I've checked out the dreaded Seatwave/Viagogo sites, but they don't always give details of the Rows.
I hope no one is insulted

So it means if anyone wants my ticket with Cat and the crew on Row N it's available.
