BRILLIANT seat Cardie - did you have to pay over the odds?”

It was £55 + fees. I've seen them going for a LOT MORE than that, but tbh that's what you usually pay for a theatre ticket, and........it's the last gig........and the summer drought will then be upon us.........

I think he also once said they get louder ! !. Hopefully when he comes to Newcastle the crowd will be on their feet from the start. Don't think I've been to a sitting down gig, although seats are sometimes there nobody ever uses them. Here's hoping

Guys......I've done something.........I hope you don't mind..........but I saw a tweet saying there was a seat at Hammersmith Row B Centre stalls, and I was just feeling gutted about missing the front row at Swindon, so I've bought it. I tried to find out if there were any pairs going, and I've checked out the dreaded Seatwave/Viagogo sites, but they don't always give details of the Rows.
I hope no one is insulted

So it means if anyone wants my ticket with Cat and the crew on Row N it's available.”

Hey, you go girl!! Wishing I'd thought of it. Nothing better than ours on ebay and I'm not sure I trust those other sites. Hope someone else will join row N now.

She actually suggested the 30th but I am booked on an 8.30 train because I am taking the kids to see Diversity in the evening in Newcastle (which is why I wasn't originally going) so I said no (thought he hadn't even been consulted so he might not have been able to make it anyway - hangover probably a big issue on 30th)

Judging by other posters though it is probably best that we didn't go for that date as people seem to want to keep it separate from the tour and something to look forward to when we've all come down.

I'm not sure when you take a pair of knickers with you specifically for the purpose, you can claim it just kind of happened certainly wouldn't stand up in court.

I must say I have never in my life been to a concert at the City Hall where at least the front section didn't stand from the beginning but this seems to be a different crowd to what I'm used to so who knows. Geordies pride themselves on being louder than anyone else (as I know do the Scots and Irish) whether it's true or not who knows

ETA 3 posts in a row - how embarrassing

Darn it In mitigation, I submit the request for advice on whether to throw on Saturday night, even though I had taken said article.

I think the 30th would be a big issue for him WKD..I am sure he wants to go out and celebrate with his band
Anyway he needs time to practice his what's he is going to sing especially if he throws in some oldies

you can't blame us for encouraging you - that doesn't wash at all

it's funny it's like we're all daft teenagers again egging each other on I'm always telling my daughter off when her excuses start with "Sophie made me" (Sophie being the best friend)

Ok here goes, (i hope this comes out where it's suppose to) i originally wanted to just add my bit to minkys review, but it seems the option has gone, is that because the House has moved? All i really wanted to say was that Minky was 'spot on' i couldn't have put it any better the only teeny weeny piece of info she missed was that i also managed a second kiss through the bars after the show, ju s st a small piece but it's a biggy to me. It was a pleasure sharing the experience with Minky even thou we sat apart, but i found myself sat next to Alice, so we gigged around together even thou nobody around us did we so wanted to stand up (that southern reserve kicked in i think). I also got to meet Humbug, another pleasure. I also had the pleasure of seeing the two drunken women being removed and after reading Seasquirts (i hope thats right) review i new why. I also can confirm that i saw the knickers arrive - no floaty pants here, they could've been fired from a cannon, I actually thought they were Minkys socks that she'd tweeted Paul about, i now know they were filled with haribo. One last thing i've already had the pleasure of meeting a few of you at Koko and i'm looking forward to meeting a few more in London........Roll on Hammersmith!! ps thanks to cardie, pie and broken for their help.
