how cringe worthy is this. paul o'grady shouting "vote rowetta" and telling her she's goin to win. im starting to agree with Sharon for saying Simon is plugging all his artists. All we need now is steve being drooled over by fiona on GMTV and we're done, oh wait THAT HAPPENED THIS MORNING!!

...sorry didn`t see your thread, have just posted another. I`m disgusted that Simon Cowell should be allowed to promote her in this way with Paul O`Grady telling everyone to vote for her on Saturday. I truly hope this all backfires on her and people realise what a big con it all this. This has been meticulously planned ever since Simon was on his show 3 weeks ago. I just feel totally sorry for the other contestants.

But before we jump to conclusions and slate simon and his artists, let's wait and see. For all we know Louis' and Sharon's artists could be appearing on tv shows soon.

......I`ll bet you they won`t. I`m really angry actually - this has never ever happened with any of the Pop Idol/Fame Academy competitions previously (in fact they were kept well away from the media and closeted together so they could get little feedback of their popularity). I feel so sorry for the rest of them - I can just imagine Rowetta rubbing it in when she gets back. Do we still believe Simon when he says she has not got a recording contract......no way. Expect to see her on Parkinson, Richard and Judy et al. This has been fixed for her to win from day 1.

Agree with you pennycandle. Simon is really taking it too far now. The show is already edited under his control, he gave all three of his acts a wonderful Gospel choir last Saturday and now this. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth and it simply isnt a level playing field anymore. I wonder what the other acts must think about all this?

If it wasn`t for the fact that I want to support G4 I would stop watching this apology for a "competition"- because I always believed competition meant a level playing field.

You have obviously got a totally wrong conception of Rowetta's character to call her the way you do. if you new her you would know she is the kindest most honest person you could ever know.

....I`m absolutely sure she is - I don`t blame her for this - Simon Cowell is responsible, bad sadly I do think people will begin to think that this is just one big set-up in Rowetta`s favour and it could affect her voting. Can you understand that is how it will come across to people who see her on chat shows. My sympathy lies with the others in this competition who must be asking - why not us. I actually think Rowetta is a lovely person - she does not deserve this but must accept a level playing field with the others.

I don't understand why some people on here are getting all het up about it all.

They can ALL use the media to promote their own artists ..... that Louis cannot be bothered to is his problem ....

What some people have forgotten is that Sharon took her people to a high media profile award ceremony last week - didn't see you all moaning then ....

...but sat in the audience only not up on the stage with Sharon urging them all to vote. I can almost guarantee we will not be seeing any of the others on other TV shows.

I can understand why people might feel a little disgruntled but can we just wait and see what happens with the other acts re chat shows? I have been away from this forum for 4 days and it feels like it has changed from the DS XF forum to the Let's all Bash Rowetta forum Yes, I am a big fan of hers, but at the same time I can still see where people are coming from. Can we change it from Let's all Bash Rowetta to Let's all Bash Simon , after all, she doesn't have a massive amount of say in it I suspect. I missed it btw, stupid work!, was it any good?

It was good overall, except the reasult when Sharon sent the wrong person home.

Marci has stated that she is Rowetta's mother, so i think she would know her pretty well!

As for the gospel choir being used - was Louis told he wasn't allowed to use a choir - no! If he didnt want to thats his choice but he cant moan at others for doing it. Didn't hear Louis moan at Sharons kiddie choir for Tabby either, or the tv award show with Cassie and Tabby.

It seems to me that people are seeing only what they want to see, rather than the whole picture.

Yeah right, course she is . anybody can claim to know/be related to anybody in any of the contestants. In that case :
Emma (2 To Go) My Mother, Steves my dad, tabby's my big brother, Cassie's my twin, Peter (2 to go) is my uncle who has commited biggomy with my 3 aunties from VWS and they have four sons known collectivly as G4 and we all live together in one big house with Granny Verity.
