If she genuinly is her mother (and I for one am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt) and reading your post, i am sure she would find it very offensive.

dw23 - Simon did take Rowetta and Steve (dunno about Verity) to the NTAs.

This forum is getting really sad. Simon's acts have no choice other than to do as they are told, otherwise they will be gone. It appears that it's time for Rowetta bashing as she was perceived as a threat to others favourites. I have been arguing since PI1 that you don;t have to hate somebody because you like somebody else. Now I don;t think Rowetta was at her best on Saturday but the week before she was brill. If she performs badly next week, she could and should go but if she performs great again, I hope it will be acknowledged.

if she gives some sort of proof then i will gladly edit my post and give her a full apology. but until that time I'm sticking to what i said.

Im not slagging her off personally. Im slagging off simon Cowell and the fact that promotes, plugs and shows off his acts more than anyone else. I hope Rowetta does well in the competition and hope she comes in the top 2 (with cassie)

Well, I can't claim to know that this is Ro's mum for a fact, but from posts I have seen on other forums I believe it is - but maybe I'm just incredibly naive! If it isn't, she is only saying what Rowetta's mum would say anyway, so good on her!

I am in fact Ro's Mum. as to her being on Paul O'Gradys show, it was he himself who invited her on, as it appears he is a fan and has been supporting her. sorry if this seems biased, but if it was someone you were supporting, you wouldn't be complaining.

That's spot-on Marci - you go girl! I for one am sick of all these anti-Rowetta comments. Though to be fair, some people are saying they are aiming it at Simon...I had heard that Paul O'Grady is a fan but I guess some people just want to see conspiracy everywhere. There will be one reason, and one reason alone that Rowetta wins this - because she has the X Factor!

Like i say my problem is not with Rowetta its with all the self promotion. And I complained when my fave (cassie) was taken to the NTAs with the rest of the 16-24 yr olds and the 25+ while the groups and verity were all left out.

Verity was taken to the NTA's, I have seen photos to prove it. She wore a rather nice long black dress - her photo was taken with Steve and Rowetta. The website where you can see the photo is mentioned in one of the other threads.

I dont blame Rowetta for appearing on these shows but it isnt exactly fair on the others. I would imagine that Rowetta has to obtain permission from Simon before agreeing to anything and he has obviously agreed to this. Dont forget he was on the same show a few weeks ago and probably arranged it then. It is still not fair on the others.
Simon is doing his best to promote his acts and wind up Louis and Sharon at the same time. He then gets to look like butter wouldnt melt on the live shows and Louis and Sharon look like the bad guys.

There are no rules in this compeitition! simon is just smarter than the other two! no one said he couldnt have them appear on tv. I am sure sharon and louis could do the same.

I bet the others will show up on telly soon enough!

Dont get me wrong - I love Rowettas voice but she is in serious danger of being over-exposed.

and simon does own the show, but sharon and louis also have brains, and should be smart enough to know simon is going to promote his artists so they should too.

Louis seems quite keen for Tabby to win this series. Its the Irish connection I suppose and I know Tabby knew him long before this competition and Tabby used to hang about with a couple of the boys from Westlife. Maybe the fault does lie with Louis and Sharon on the lack of promotion.

So what all happened on this show????? details for those of us unfortunate souls who are in the states and cannnot see this???? What was Rowetta wearing, did she sing anything???? What did paul ask her?

yeah, I think Louis really likes tabby also! heck, I like tabby too! I think he is funky and is very enjoyable to watch. Sharon took a big risk in putting him in.
