Well said Marci, I too think the Simon and Ro bashers have got a touch of the 'green eyed monster'.................give my love to Ro next time you speak, she's doing a grand job.

As for the gospel choir being used - was Louis told he wasn't allowed to use a choir - no! If he didnt want to thats his choice but he cant moan at others for doing it. Didn't hear Louis moan at Sharons kiddie choir for Tabby either, or the tv award show with Cassie and Tabby.

It seems to me that people are seeing only what they want to see, rather than the whole picture. ”

Also didn't hear him complaining about the dragging on of a piano. lol.

Paul O'Grady was supporting Rowetta about two weeks ago.
He was urging the studio audience to cheer her on about two weeks before this programme.
I saw Paul being a big Rowetta fan long before she appeared on the show.

And it isn't uncommon. Last year there were contestants from music reality shows guesting on Des and Mel, RI:SE, Loose Women etc.
And the Fame Academy lot were doing tours and promotions all the time. Popping up here and there with fleeting visits to certain venues where the crowds met them. Interviews in magazines etc.

Like I say, Paul was supporting Rowetta very early on. It's not as though it's a sudden move.
And I'm not sure if Simon Cowell has so much power over ITV he can tell Paul O Grady what guests to have on his show or not.

Having said all that, it doesn't mean I dismiss outright that Cowell tried to get Rowetta on Paul's show, these things happen.
It's very possible that Simon knew Paul was a fan and simply asked if he'd like to have Rowetta on as a guest. Opportunist of Cowell as we might expect, but not exactly a big conspiracy.

I'm just saying that we have little more than speculation to go on.
And the fact that having music reality contestants on TV shows while they are still running is not something new, nor is it that uncommon, means that I don't think it's that big a deal.

For all we know, one of the others may be on a TV show next week or something. Unless Rowetta is going on loads of TV shows and the others aren't...it really isn't that big a deal to me.
It's not Rowetta's fault if Paul likes her, and isn't as keen on the others.
Maybe if Sharon or Louis ask Paul nicely he might invite someone else on.

X Factor is corrupt in it's basic premise already. Rowetta on Paul's show pales into comparison to the manipulation that already goes on.

Come off it, of course it's happened before.

It's not just TV shows either, it's magazine interviews, tabloid columns, kiss and tells, film premieres, appearances at music venues, nightclub appearances, kid's TV shows.
We even witnessed one actually perform on Top of the Pops..(I wonder if anyone can guess who that might be? )

Even the judges get involved with the media circus. Whether it be Fame Academy Judges or X Factor judges.

If you read a paper or magazine, or see a judge appear on TV slagging other judges off making claims of a fix, then that itself is designed to influence people.

Paul O' Grady show, teatime slot.

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. Prime Time Saturday night,...massive share of audience viewers.

And Jack Osbourne shouting vote for Tabby and Cassie, on the show?

"Shouting" is not what you'd call blatant?

At the end of the day this is a competition and Simon is doing everything he can to promote his artists, he wants to win. As does Sharon and Louis, they obviously have contacts too in the tv/music industry, however, they have not used their contacts for their artists, Simon has. There is no stopping Sharon and Louis doing this. If I was in Simons position, I would be doing all I could to make sure they win, and why not!!! (saying all this, I can see peoples views, and i am a big fan of Voices With Soul, I think they would benefit from extra publicity....come on Louis)!!!

And its not Rowettas fault if Simon is doing a better job at promoting his acts than Sharon and Louis

The "problem" is Sharon and Simon are "celebrities" and have more star power than Louis, I doubt louis can generate as much pulicity as sharon and Simon. Also, Simon isn't the only one blatantly plugging his contestants; in this week's 'Reveal' Tabby and Cassie are telling their sob stories...Cassie about being bullied (she and every celebrity) and Tabby about being skint (he and every poor person sleeping on the street) as you might have guessed; I HATE sob stories!
