Alphabeat are my guilty pleasure, loved their singles, especially 'The Spell'! Shame that didn't do aswell as their previous ones.

I COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY ADORE ALPHABEAT AND I BOUGHT THE ALBUM OVER MILEY CYRUS'S BREAKOUT, JUST SAYING.

I love 'Vacation', in fact there are few songs of theirs I don't actually like; Hole In My Heart really grew on me, and I'm so glad they're back

I love Alphabeat but Vacation is very weak by their standards.
And The Beat Is... is such a great album though.

I was a fan of their debut album but never got into the second, apart from Hole In My Heart it all seemed to blur past and merge together into one big 'meh'. Haven't heard Vacation yet, i'll have to check it out...

agree with the debut being the better - the cheery 80s vibe worked a lot better than the 90s dance on album 2 - good to see they've reverted back to the better sound!
