End of time is supposedly set to be released (well it's already out lol...weird downloads thing) on April 22nd, and is on urban radio here already (mainstream will be soon to follow).

Anyone think it could be her 2nd top 10 hit off 4? I hope so, it took a while for Love on top to reach the top half of the top 20.

Urban radio have been playing End of Time since last summer! Well, in the UK anyway, stations like Radio 1Xtra and Choice FM have been playing it for ages.

If Capital and Radio 1 play it a lot, I think it'll go top 10. It's an amazing song. I think it's much like a more radio-friendly version of Run the World (musically).

End of Time has already charted top 75 (last summer), and has very often been in the top 300 on iTunes since then, which shows that it's fairly popular even without mass radio promotion and a music video, etc. So hopefully when more of the public get familiar with the song it can do well.

It's a brilliant song but I'm not sure how well it'll do as the 5th or 6th single. Is it even getting a video? Hopefully it'll go top 20 at least.

I hope people don't get too excited and expect her to promote this. There's been a lot of comments on here about the singles from 4 not doing well. However, before the album was released she made it clear that this era would be about the album as a whole and that she wouldn't be focusing on particular singles. This is why she hasn't promoted any of the singles. All performances she's given from this album have always included about 4 or 5 tracks from 4, with the exception of Countdown which she did perform on its own on Jimmy Kimmel in the U.S.

It's got a live performance, similar to what Prince used to do, rather than a video concept. I think most of the mainstream are unaware of it, as Countdown barely got any airplay (props to 1xtra, they've been really pushing her music (or they're following orders - notice Jessie J and ed sheeran on 1xtra A playlists )

Where did love on top get too in the chart? Imo that was the best song on the album, followed by End Of Time.

#13, and peaked at #10 on itunes. It took radio FOREVER to start playing it though.

There's been a video for it since last year?

Hmmmm... it could have been a number one, but I don't think it will, people have the album and the single was bought by a lot of people recently so...

The song isn't that bad, problem is, I have a feeling it'll be more production over music. That the video will probably end up better than the song. I'd have personally chose either I Was Here or Start Over. I think I Was Here would be a perfect way to close the album

This should have been the third single instead of "Countdown"!

It's just outside the top 100 on iTunes now. And it's 99p. This is good! It's not playlisted on Radio 1 yet.

Aren't all songs 99p?

Jessie J is playlisted by Radio 1Xtra mainly because her first single, Do It Like a Dude was urban, and they continued supporting her after that. All her other singles did have SOME urban characteristics, but Domino is pure pop, and her next single, LaserLight is also pure pop, so I'm thinking Radio 1Xtra should drop her now until she releases another urban song.

Ed Sheeran gets playlisted on Radio 1Xtra basically because he has strong ties with the UK urban community. He seems to have collaborated with most famous UK rappers. And his single, You Need Me, I Don't Need You is urban-styled. His other songs though, not so much, so Radio 1Xtra probably shouldn't be playing those (The A Team, Lego House, etc.).

That's what I mean. Play the influenced ones, but not pop. They did the same for Bruno Mars. Think of it as this, regardless of connections, would you expect to hear Drunk vs End of time, Otis, 212, Back to love, and a host of other urban music? No. Unfortunately, it's a very naughty R1 thing. 1xtra are playing what they're given. I'm sure its a policy order. No right minded urban DJ would spin Domino. I think they've been pushing ever so slowly into popping Pop onto urban playlists. IMO it should be a song by song basis. Otherwise it looks silly.

It's been in the iTunes top 50 all this week for some reason. Has it been sent to mainstream radio yet? Or is it just because it's amazing?

the latter I suspect this is only from 1xtra support I think...I love it. I hope Capital and R1 get behind this and A list it, at this rate it could actually be a number one. Any song can get there easily as long as radio hammer it, and it's good.

The live video is on all tv channels.

No, I found it. it's at #9 on the TV airplay chart. They're hammering the Live @ roseland video (so they can see her epicness on a stage) Nothing better than a live performance.

It's nowhere to be seen in the top 100 on commercial radio or the overall airplay chart. With some good airplay, i.e top 40 or even #40 itself it could easily be a top 10 hit. Bey deserves 2 hits at least. This album is a masterpiece for me. I love it.

Ah ok. I've not seen much TV recently so it must have passed me by. I prefer to think people are just buying it because it's amazing though
