Not happy with Sky.
Does anybody know which phone and broadband is the best
to go for? We have had Sky for about 10 years and noticed how it's gotten worse over the years, for instance the internet is constantly kicking us off and the constant repeats and noticing a lot of channels are slowly disappearing e.g. Diva and living +1 however Sky insist that nothing has been removed. |

I've been with a few different combinations of phone and broadband providers over the years and at the end of it I would recommend just getting everything through BT. Otherwise if you use someone like Sky or TalkTalk for your broadband and it goes wrong then they'll just blame BT (who ultimately own the exchanges) BT will blame the other party, and so on.......

If you have a line fault with your internet then BT isn't likely to improve things as its the same line!
Have they not worked with you to try and resolve the technical problems? To move a thread, report it using the report button. Wanting to leave partly because a +1 channel has gone....you're a bit of a picky customer!

They were just 2 examples, but even so more channels have gone. The quality just isn't worth the price anymore.
What other channels are you missing then, which haven't been renamed or moved? |

Its really going to be the same stuff on most of the platforms. If you want to switch then great, but really advise is going to be limited because only you know what program content you want and you will have to research which of the cheaper options still carry that content.
As for the technical side, truth is there is little difference they all have winners and losers. I use virgin media which I have found to be very reliable but their technical support is poor if you happen to get India. I had terrible experience with BT. But someone else will probably say the reverse. As I am now outside the cable area I'm stuck on BT infra anyway. |
