Well it's all speculation at this stage.

Most videos sound rubbish when you reduce them to a concept.

It's all about the shots and how it comes together.

For example, Beyoncé "Single Ladies" sounds like it will be an awful cheap video. (Beyoncé plus two dancers in black and white).

I'm not saying Alex's will be iconic but let's hold off until we see it?

The song is what matters most and it sounds like we're in for a treat by what people have been saying.

Yeah I know that, which is why I'll make a full judgement when she announces the director...When I found out that the last directors directed this, I knew the video would be disappointing at best...

I wonder who the directors are?....hopefully, they'll atleast re-hire the guys that did Elephant and not pluck some random film students to shoot this

The party they had for Elephant was really bare, they didn't have more than 15 people there including the dancers....it looked so empty

Sadly I think it's heading that way too...they seem to be giving her a budget of a flopped newcomer...if she really had to switch labels, she should have switched to Epic or stayed with Syco...RCA just don't seem keen to dish out any cash to her at all....they trashed Diana as well, and judging by what is going on now with Alexandra, they will do the same to her....

If they really did have confidence, they would have given her a big budget to start with, but the Elephant video was at completely the other end of the scale....

I'm just praying that they may have upped the budget for this song...and that it sounds good...

You're very cynical. Jumping the gun, no?

You haven't even heard the 2nd single and you can hardly write the video off without having any information other than the concept.

Also, Elephant wasn't supposed to have a party, it was Alexandra hanging out with her "friends". It did look empty but I think that was the point. She was having fun in an abandoned warehouse.

Can I play devil's advocate for a moment?

If RCA had put out a shit load of money for the Elephant video, there is no guarantee that it would have performed any better.

It currently has sold about 80,000 copies. They might not have recouped their investment and it would put Alex in an even more vulnerable position.

The investment has to make sense. It's difficult to find causation between really expensive video and the success of the song.

The video could have been better but can we stop whining about the budget?

At the end of the day, lots of artists seem to have successful careers but they are not sustainable simply because record companies spend far too much money getting them to that point. It's a business at the end of the day and nothing is certain these days.

I do hope that the new video will be more creative and reflect Alex's talent.
