Top of the Leader board goes through

They did say that didn't they?

So that guarantees that both Matt and Jorgie can't score 40 then one assumes!

Does anyone know if they get marked on the performance and the ultimate skills test and then the highest gets put through automatically? Or are they just marking the performance?
If it's including skills test I think it will be Matt going straight through

I suspect they will put Chico top to make sure he is in the final 3.

I THOUGHT they said performance, one goes through and then 3 do the skills test. Which made me wonder about a tied score!

From what Philip said at the end of the show both routines will be marked.

I hope so

I know it is unlikely, but what will they do if the result is tied? Have two skate-offs? One to go straight through to the final and another not to be eliminated? Or will they just make them all skate again?

I got the impression it was to be the one with the top score on the ultimate skills test, but I admit I didn't pay a huge amount of attention, and I've deleted my recording, so can't check.

Maybe they'll be scored on a routine with their partner AND scored on their solo skills routine - and the one top over all goes through

Or - maybe they'll be scored on a routine with their partner, and the one who skates best in the solo skills will have points added to their total - and the one top over all
goes through

Perhaps they will keep it deliberately vague and in the event of a tie come up with a tie breaker that favours their favourite?

I bet Matthew Wolfenden will be the one that goes through straight away because he's the judges favourite without a doubt.

This.

Matthew is a dead cert to go straight through. Would put anything on it!

I think the show is trying too hard to not be 'predictable' and so I think Matt could well find himself not on top. At the end of the day - Jorgie has been top of the leader board more on average...so it could well go her way. I don't think Chico or Jennifer stand a chance. It's between Matt and Jorgie...I'd put my money on Jorgie.

It will be Matthew or Jorgie so that they cannot both be in the skate-off.

Probably so, but if he is the judge's favourite that may be something to do with him being a damn good skater! Jorgie is also good but on skating ability I think Matthew is easily ahead of her. However, as the last skills test proved, anything could happen...
