It is a very unusual colour combo that only matt could wear and still look good.
The shirt was very gappy,lots of Wow's and snw, is the shirt too small/tight or been shrunk or has matt got broader , the trews are snug too, lovely amount of stubble, very nice close ups. i do like the little flick/curl of his hair at the front. thanks kk they are great

Managed to finish work early today so sat in the garden for a couple of hours

Like the way Matt looked tonight. I hated that jacket first time around but it looked better on him tonight. I've decided it's because he looked more comfortable in it, more relaxed. First time he was trying to sit up very straight and looked a bit rigid. He looked at home in it in other words. Mind you, a little bit of stubble wouldn't go amiss.

Other than that, a pretty ordinary show. Helen Mirren okay. Thought a couple of times she went on a bit and had Matt looking slightly worried, but it all worked out.

Matt definitely not as bouncy this week though. Ruffled look = bouncy, well-groomed look = controlled. Prefer ruffled look.

Matt looked smart tonight in his jacket and white shirt, which was buttoned up. he must of been boiling in the studio with the jacket on. The stubble is on its way back
Didn't notice last night the background colour in the studio had been changed, not a great colour the peach/apricot colour.
Helen m was a good guest, very talkative, she was having a good chat about a couple of the vts.

Good evening campers. The Butlin look has returned I loved the look tonight but then he rocks grey (any shade will do) and AJ looked .lovely as well. Day 3 tomorrow so the shadow round the chin should be more evident for us in the "stubble" brigade

Helen was a good guest and talked very sensibly about dogs (I had a staffie many years ago) and CPR - which we are trained in at work each year. One of those life skills you hope never to use.

Never noticed the change of background colour was more interested in The Man in Grey

I prefer it that colour to the winter purple. That purple colour does weird things to the colours of clothes and also makes people's skin look a strange colour. At least the peach is less harsh on skin colour

FBB looked adorable in fluffy hair; the tans looked better tonight, I mean not just rubbed on cheeks and forehead. Steve Backshall tomorrow. We might see Backshall's box of Beasties Part 2 tomorrow night.

Matt looked adorable as usual tonight, looking very well-scrubbed and neat and tidy in his jacket and shirt. Think a little stubble is beginning to emerge....roll on Wednesday. Helen was chatty but polite as befits a classy Essex lady and added even more glamour to the show.

I do hope we get some more Backshall's boxes tomorrow night (and perhaps experience another of Alex's bon mots....'it's a little cat'). What a lovely man Steve is, and Matt has real interest in Steve's adventures. (I think Matt would like to do something like that!) And let's hope we get another appearance of the the grey cardi again....shoulder alert!!

The effect of warm weather and light evenings! We have a rating for last night's One Show - its 4.33m. Which doesn't sound brilliant but working out the percentage based on Emmerdale gets me 23.9% which is really good going

That's a great percentage. And I expect the figure to start going down as summer weather and/or holidays approach. Last year it was regularly between 3.5 and 4m. Unusually good weather so early will bring the figure down sooner.

Not my favourite look this, but there you are. At least there's some stubble, and some lovely expressions. It was a good show I seem to remember. I thought Robert Powell had actually fallen asleep a couple of times but maybe he was just concentrating. Will give him the benefit of the doubt.
