Evening

Good show tonight, wasn't Ava a little sweetie, lovely sparkly shoes she got, and what in the box made a return, not sure i liked any of the beasties in the boxes, the skunk could of let of a interesting smell if steve had upset if, as for box 3 but very funny

Looks as if matt has had a mop trim, and wearing a nice new stripy shirt, quite a loose fitting, no sign of a Wow nice and bouncy tonight.

It's the 1st of March on The One Show and the guest tonight is Sue Johnston. We have VTs on the real family behind the story "We bought a zoo", theft of family gold, an interview with David Rathband airing on the day he died, and the finding of bronze age dug out canoes in the fens.

Matt is wearing a navy buttoned jumper, navy gingham shirt and dark jeans. As it's St David's Day there is also a daffodil being worn

Note to self: Stop reading PoV, Rita!”

Rita, you eventually made up your mind not to bother reading PoV anymore, have you? I would like to welcome your decision if I am to be very honest. IMO those whingers are attention seekers and trouble seekers. They are fistful of sand on the massive sandy beach, very minority of millions viewers but they will be there anyway waiting for something to jump on to stir things up as they can’t live their lives be positive and happy. That's their self-infected problem, no one is responsible for that cos they just can’t stop watching the program. So it is not worth your time and effort for them really.

CCM to you SkyBlue and all the other readers!

Lovely OS tonight, Matt looking adorable as usual, nice shirt, trews and shoes. Steve B was an excellent interesting guest (as he was before) and much to my delight we were given a glimpse of the original 'What's In The Box' when Matt wore the white shirt, grey cardi and jeans and looked absolutely fantastic....the cardi showed off those shoulders to perfection. Well, that thudded me right out.

KK - thank you for reposting the fabulous pics of Matt and Alex, the 'wedding' one has a beautiful feel to it. And thanks also for the latest screencaps, will dive in shortly, what a treat!

Am still working my way through my To Do list for today, have accomplished some jobs but there are an awful lot still outstanding. Must try to get up earlier  and burn the candle at both ends.

So it's a final CCM from me for the night. Sweet stubbly dreams (let's hope the FBB gives us what we really really want tomorrow!) xx

Good morning,

Got in late last night but did watch TT before going to bed. Have to say I didn't really enjoy it. I didn't much like the What's in the Box item first time around, and even less so this time. I don't really like seeing animals used like this and would have hoped both Steve and Matt would have objected to taking part. The skunk and the lizard both looked scared and were trying to escape.

Other than that I liked Matt's shirt and especially the fact he stopped it from looking office like by letting it all hang out slightly. Didn't like the mop chop, but that goes without saying, and would like to see the return of the stubble. If it's growing back, it's doing so very slowly. Maybe tonight

Good morning Rita and anyone else around

I will miss TT tonight as im on a late shift

Still 4 days off after today, and L and little L will be down on saturday

Im sure the stubble will soon return Rita, its doesnt seem to take long!

Interesting post on the ratings thread showing the regional breakdown for The One Show vs Emmerdale on Monday:

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...postcount=1537

It gives us a rating for a start - it's 4.15m and 22.1%. It's interesting to see that The One Show skews towards a southern audience - it's viewing percentage is nearer 30% in the south and west of England. I think that's a general BBC thing though - ITV skews northern, BBC skew southern...

Interesting. I didn't know more people watched ITV in the North and BBC in the South. Wonder why.

Just audience demographics I think... BBC attracts a higher number of ABC1 viewers and that skews it to areas with higher costs of living. It's always been a bit like that.

And to get back on topic I did think the stubble was reemerging last night (and the night before). He'd obviously shaved on Monday as he was rather stubbly on Sunday's Sports Relief Mile show so I expect it to take 2-3 days before it's obvious. His jawline was definitely shadowed from Tuesday onwards but he's a bit tangoed so it's not as obvious

A belated hellaw ....it's been that sort of a day!

Wonder who the guest is tonight on the One Show? I will soon find out.

Lovely picspam KK, was looking at the new phawtaws this morning......beautiful!

A brief sojourn here....off to view the man and try and do a decent thud despite my fatigued bod!

Hope everyone has had a brilliant day in the sunshine...but it now looks as if the weather is about to change. We've had our spring. Never mind, as long as we have Matt to brighten and warm our day, I can live with chilly temperatures.

A bit of a surprise having 2 little lambs wandering around your front garden, bet the farmer was pleased to have them safely back.Shame there wasn't any dancing farm boy to return them to

Matt looked fabulous tonight, very nice new white and blue stripy shirt, buttons undone, rolled up sleeves, wow's, a nicely tanned matt, very thuddy, he was a happy bunny.
Did they talk to rory much, can't say that i noticed, the half hour really went quickly.

Time for a Countryfile picspam from the 4th of March. We're in the golden valleys near Stroud with Matt spending most of his time at Painswick. Matt seemed to decide that dressing like Harry Potter in later films was appropriate as he was wearing:

Dark beige cargo trousers
Moss green jacket with grey jersey lining
Brown (could be black) zipped fleece/cardigan
Grey buttoned University of Michigan sweatshirt
White t-shirt
Multi-coloured striped scarf (red, beige, grey, brown)
And his hair was brushed forward too

Been looking at the latest pics, fabulous. Much appreciated KK !

Some very interesting ones! . His clothes were a bit of a hotchpotch - looked like he'd just grabbed anything out of the wardrobe. . But he still looked splendid of course. Bong!

Great OS tonight with Rory M, Matt was fantastic in his stripey shirt and jeans, looking radiant. Wonder if there's CF filming tomorrow, I'm sure we will hear something....

Cass, 4 days off - how wonderful to see your relatives especially your little L. Hope you have some nice events arranged! By the way, loved your funny tale about the sheep and lambs. I once had a pony in my tiny back garden but
that's another story!

So CCM on a rather quiet day on here....but we're looking at quality not quantity. . Hope everyone has good sleeps with bells on! Night night  xx

Helloo DS friends. Its the Easter holidaysand I have a little more time on my hands to post on here. I'm off out at 10.30 to meet a friend for coffee. Just been stripping Barn and he looks beautiful at the moment. He is sat next to me licking away - kind of undoes all the good work I did with the stripping

I have so enjoyed Matt TV these last few weeks. He is looking pretty good at the moment! This cheers me up no end.
I am glad to hear the lift is mended Rita. Now its time to think up a new fitness regime and stock up on the shopping.

Luckily I dont drive and can walk most places I need to go. I walk to school, walk to town and walk to train station if I need to go further afield. Mum and Dad are driving down here for Easter though so I hope their plans aren't foiled. Off to Lymington (again) tomorrow for a bird spotting walk and then to Brighton next week for a couple of days. Bar stays by himself and a friend pops in to feed and cuddle him. he doesnt like to leave the flat and is much happier on his own turf.
Right - I'd better go and take off dog walking gear and put on coffee drinking gear. Life is so hectic!!
Bye for now on this Mattless day xx

Hellaw this bright day!

Nice to see you on here Katenbarn, it's always lovely to welcome back old friends!

Really want to catch up with last night's thudalicious Matt on the OS - didn't he look fab!

They say there's not going to be a petrol drivers' strike this side of Easter so hopefully all the panic-buying will cease for now, POCs to you Cass for finding a petrol station with petrol. It's like the pub with no beer! Lucky you, KB, not needing to drive with everything close at hand. I'm always in my little car - and it's the only time I can sing along with songs - and have some happy thoughts.

These should keep us going for the rest of the day as well as the Bong ones!

Making vain attempts to clear the bedrooms as we have little people here tomorrow and into Sunday morning. Not easy trying to move around years' and years' worth of 'stuff'! It's very difficult when you're a bit of a hoarder!

Anyway back to the main man, wonder if anyone's heard anything? If he is filming, it'll be a lovely day for a short-sleeved shirt.

Better return to the job in hand...boring...but no-one else is going to do it.....Cheerio for now peeps, hope everyone is having a brilliant Friday!

Oh what a beautiful moring oh what a beautiful man (sorry I mean day)I CF filming on warm day may mean the t*******s may be discarded. Probs no filming next Fri as its the Easter Hols - hooray!

Welcome Katenbarn -Lymington is one of my fav places in the Forest - lovely walks and although not an authority on birds it is a wonderful area to watch. We have 2 woodpeckers in the woods at the back of us- lovely but not at 5am: Enjoy your well deserved break

At least you are spared the mad petrol rush. At times like this wish I could ride a bike (a rickshaw would do). Work too far to walk but..........................Hope Mum and Dad get there without too much trouble.

Cass I know what you mean - the petrol queues were so bad they were blocking the main road. Luckily - I have petrol. Fuelled (pardon the pun) by inappropriate comments by one of our government representitives

Havent seen TT yet - busy weekend. Son no 3 has bday tomorrow, out for a cliff top walk with friends and then dinner out - well someone has to do it

Bye for now on this Mattless day xx”

Hellow Kate, nice to hear from you again. Are you on holiday already? They don't start here until next Wednesday.

Strange to just get in a lift to reach the 7th floor. What used to be the norm suddenly seems unbelievably luxurious.

My cats don't leave home either. I get a friend or neighbour to come and feed them. Preferably friend because neighbour is not really an animal person and they know that. They really don't like leaving their territory, do they.

I didn't get round to commenting on TT last night, but it was lovely. Lovely shirt, stubble improving slowly (though I have the nasty feeling it's being kept in check). Best thing I can say about the hair is that it will grow again. Have we given Matt a list of our preferences, by the way? Or do you think that would confuse him, since our preferences are not all the same

Anyway, I have a couple of picspams to catch up with I think. Will go and check them out.
